i was rewatching cap's backstory episode in EMH and thought their expressions in this screenshot were so funny. i had to redraw it

(the situation is dire when the only ideas i have for art are redraws. girl help)

bonus design doodle. i wanted to compare the way i usually draw bucky to the show design. turned out interesting.

couldn't draw for a solid few weeks there (???) and then all of a sudden yesterday and today i just pump out a few invaders doodles and yknow what, i'm ok with that.

will I stick to any of these designs for certain? I dunno. Clearly I haven't been even remotely consistent with drawing Steve LMAO.

anyone remember avengers / invaders? i get why they couldn't have too much of bucky interacting with himself but that doesn't mean that *i* can't imagine it. lol.

imagine if young bucky had managed to get a word in, instead of present bucky giving him a vague, ominous warning and then fucking off to god knows where. or, better yet, young bucky tries to follow up on what this weird replacement captain america warned him about earlier and starts to get naturally judgemental of his capabilities.

anyways, first "finished" artwork all year (it is a sketch) but it's something at least! also monumental since i'm getting adjusted to a new tablet & art software... so it's not perfect. but thats okay.

Bucky, after stupidly rushing into a dangerous situation and having to be bailed out again and again:

Rivals made me feel like reading comics again, so I cracked open the Brubaker Captain America run to get the backstory of the second guy I was starting to main, the Winter Soldier.

Never going to forget the switch-up I had when I was reading the 'Captain America and Bucky' comic where I went from mercilessly making fun of classic sidekick Bucky and his stupid outfit to abruptly realizing "oh no, he's actually good."

I haven't properly drawn him as the Winter Soldier yet. I like drawing boy-scout Bucky though. The outfit is so ridiculous and ugly to look at that it circles back around to being fun. Definitely want to draw the Winter Soldier, though. It took him *all that* to get a decent-looking design? lol
