Avengers Preferences: Asking You on a Date
A/N: This is my first Avengers (plus others) preference! I hope you all enjoy; feedback and comments are greatly appreciated! Requests are open, so feel free to send me any preference requests :)
Also, this story has preferences for the main 6 Avengers along with Peter Parker, Loki, and Bucky.
Steve:
Steve’s been around for some time, everyone knows that. So, of course, when he asks you on a date, he takes an old-fashioned approach. He brings you a huge bouquet of your favorite flowers and a box of chocolates and asks for your courtship in a traditional, sweet manner. How could you say no to such a romantic request?
Bruce:
You and Bruce had been friends for ages. But, unbeknownst to you, he actually fancied you from the day you met. One day, you saw him staring at you (like he has been for the last couple of weeks), and you jokingly asked if he wanted to date you. When he seriously asked if you wanted to, you almost choked, but ended up accepting with a huge blush on your face.
Clint:
Because Clint was so devoted to his job, you thought he’d never get married. You were a fellow agent who worked alongside him often, and in all your years of knowing him, you’ve never seen him even go on a date, even though countless women offered. When he asks you, you’re confused and nervous that it’s a sick joke. When he reassures you it’s not, you’re glad to accept.
Natasha:
Natasha has always been sweet and seductive; after all, it’s part of her job. So, when she first asks you out, you think it’s a joke. You’ve seen and heard her make jokes like this before around others, and you thought nothing of it. But, one day she took you aside and asked again, very seriously this time, and you couldn’t help but say yes with the look she gives you.
Tony:
Of course Tony would pick a grandiose way of asking you on a date. He does it in front of a ton of people at some kind of concert you were forced to attend. He has it displayed on a huge projector before calling out your name through the microphone. You’re a little embarrassed, but you know he means well, so you accept, causing the crowd of people to cheer and clap.
Thor:
Thor was used to getting fawned over by countless beautiful women (he was a god after all). But, when he fell for you, he knew it would take effort to get you to like him. He asked you once early on, and you declined, afraid to be another notch in his belt. But, as time passed on, you warmed up to him, and one day, he sat you down and told you genuinely how he felt about you. He ended by asking for a date, and you accepted, knowing how much you mean to him.
Peter P:
Peter is so nervous to ask you on a date, bless his heart. He barely has the guts to even talk to you at first, but he quickly warms up to you. Even though you were friends with him for some time, when Peter wanted to ask you out, he was so nervous for your answer. He finally got the guts to ask you, but he’s noticeably nervous and awkward. Nonetheless, you accepted and he was elated; truly on cloud nine.
Bucky:
Bucky’s bold and confident personality had always made it easy to find a date. But, he when he was even near you, he felt jittery and nervous. Realizing that you’re the first one to make him feel this way made him even more nervous around you. However, you still remained close friends. One night, after some playful banter, his nervousness settled, and he managed to ask you on a date. You said “finally!” before gladly accepting.
Loki:
Loki was used to being in his brother’s shadow. When people thought of Asgard, they thought of Thor, not him. When he first realized he fancied you, he darkly thought that you’d pick Thor over him, like everyone else had. So, he kept his feelings for you hidden for a long while. You had finally had enough one day and admitted your feelings toward him. With elation and acceptance in his heart, Loki asked you on a simple date, which you accepted without hesitation.
