Naughty Neyo 🫦
91st Recon uhhh leads the way …
my (long overdue) half of an art swap with sweet @aerykai! I wasn’t allowed to draw a grin or a smile, as a challenge, but I hope this is an okay compromise >:D
Snippet
Force-Sensitive Neyo, Neyo & Bacara, Neyo & Jon Antilles, Jon Antilles/Feemor/Agen Kolar
Feefee: How fares your Padawan?
-
Jon sighed and glanced over at CC-8826 where he was cleaning his blasters across their tiny ship’s common area.
The clone raised an eyebrow. "Something the matter?"
Jon took a moment to gather his thoughts into the truest answer. "My partners are prying. They assume I think I'm not good enough to be your master and lied that you don't want to be trained."
Two-six huffed and shook his head. "This is why I only talk to Bacara."
Jon hummed in sympathy.
-
Jonjon: He reminds me of me.
Gengen: How so?
Jonjon: Right after I graduated, but angrier.
Feefee: Should he talk to a mind healer?
-
Jon tilted his head at that. "Mind healers?"
Two-six snorted derisively.
Jon nodded, understanding.
-
Jonjon: He's not ready yet.
Jonjon: I won't make him do anything he doesn't want to.
Jonjon: He doesn't trust me with his name yet.
Gengen: You're doing very well with him, love.
Jonjon: Thank you.
Jonjon: He is still not my Padawan.
-
Jon muted his comm for the moment as his lovers started in with their unwanted support and encouragement. (Not entirely unwanted, he admitted to himself within his mind. They would stop if he asked, but he hoarded each piece like treasure for the next bad day.)
“Where are we headed?” Two-six asked.
Jon closed his eyes for a moment, searching for that tug in his heart that led him ever onward. “Rimward. That’s all I know.”
Two-six frowned. “We were going to head to Coruscant via the Hydian Way junction at Darknell before we crashed. Sevarcos should be close.”
Close, Jon knew, but far from the closest. He pushed the suggestion towards the Force and was met with resounding conviction. “We’ll stop at Naboo to purchase a breath apparatus for me and a more suitable comm for you to contact your brother with.”
Two-six’ eyes widened briefly in surprise, but he quickly masked it and gave a simple, stern nod before turning back to his work.
Jon stood and made his way to the cockpit to manage their course. Two-six and he had both chafed when Master Mundi assigned the marshal commander as his minder, he reflected, but it did seem like they were already settling into a comfortable routine.
This is all I have so far, so if you have something nice to say, please leave feedback!
Protect You in Your Dreams
Rex/Bacara/Neyo
Bunks were not made for more than one person, and certainly not three. Especially if two of those people were CCs. But with a little maneuvering and absolutely no space between them, Bacara and Neyo had managed to fit their CT between them for the night. CTs were naturally smaller than CCs, with narrower shoulders and leaner muscle mass. Heavy gunners might have some more meat on them, but their CT was billeted for small arms.
“Is he asleep?” Neyo whispered so quietly Bacara could barely hear him over the soft breathing of their CT.
Bacara nodded and ran a hand down Rex’s arm with a light touch. Their poor CT had been run ragged for the entirety of ARC training, leaving him exhausted most nights. Not a word of complaint ever crossed his lips, though, and he forced himself to keep up—and in some cases, surpass—the CCs. Rex had been like that from the moment he was decanted. Certainly, since the cadet a cycle younger than them had crashed his way into their lives.
Rex was Cody’s. He was the tat’ka of one of the most chaotic and devastatingly effective CC squads in the whole clone army. But Rex was also Bacara’s and Neyo’s. Just a little bit. Enough that when they realized Rex was in their ARC training class, they’d immediately latched onto his sides and refused to let him power through the harsh physical and mental strains alone.
“Priest was watching him again, today,” Neyo mentioned quietly. Anyone besides Bacara might have even said that Neyo’s tone of voice was casual. There was nothing casual about mentioning Priest.
For a split second, Bacara tensed, before he relaxed again and nuzzled the back of Rex’s head. “He won’t do anything,” Bacara vowed.
“Rex is too old to be one of Priest’s cadets, anyway. He doesn’t like training any of the graduated clones,” Neyo added.
But that didn’t change the fact that Priest had wanted Rex, years ago when he was the right age to begin training with the Kyr’tsad trainer. It didn’t change the fact that a “training accident” had killed all of Rex’s squadmates and it was only the timely intervention from Alpha-17 and Prime, himself, that kept Rex out of Priest’s hands. If there was a clone that Priest might make an exception for, Bacara thought it might be Rex.
“We’ll keep watch,” Bacara promised. “He’s not running ARC training. He won’t be able to do anything.”
Rex let out a soft sigh and shifted in his sleep. Both Neyo and Bacara froze, but Rex only wriggled impossibly closer to Neyo’s chest and gave a happy hum before relaxing again. Neyo looked up at Bacara, terror and panic well-hidden within his eyes. But Bacara knew and understood. He and Neyo were dangerous. They could easily hurt Rex. And yet . . . he trusted them. He was vulnerable and soft with them, and it was . . . perfect-terrifying-stressful-relaxing. Rex’s trust would never be misplaced in Neyo and Bacara. Never.
Rex was Bacara’s and Neyo’s, but Bacara and Neyo were Rex’s, just as much.
I decided it was time for a return to solid blocky colours, and drew Commander Neyo without bothering to find an armour ref. It's fine, I'm close enough.
what neyo headcannons do you have? what other commanders(Other than 'Cara) do you think he might friends with?
Thanks for the question anon💕
Since it’s not specified, I’ll do some general and relationship headcannons😌
Neyo Headcannons:
He doesn’t really talk to anyone other than his brothers or his superiors(don’t talk unless spoken to sort of thing and even then it’s only ever a one word answer)
Now with certain brothers like Bacara or Wolffe he can be pretty talkative with. I imagine they shit talk each other about their Jedi and what not on their off time for fun.
A total smart ass as well when he does bond with them.
He is not very good with emotions so this is how he shows brotherly love through his smart remarks.
He is undoubtedly socially awkward. You can’t change my mind. He is at a loss of words when it comes to anything other than his brothers or the war.
WAC-47 is literally his son/best friend.
King of zero fucks given. Since he has a limited attachment to a certain few of his brothers, wac, and maybe an s/o, I don’t think much would phase him as far losing Jedi, men, battles, himself. I’m not saying he doesn’t care about others. His cold personality strikes me as the kind that would allow him to be very detached from others. Except for the small few I mentioned.
Besides Bacara, Wolffe, and WAC, I could see Commander Neyo getting along with Fox, Faie, Bly, and maybe Cody.
For Fox, I think their smart ass attitudes would just align so perfectly, except Neyo’s is a bit darker and morbid than Fox’s. But still they would get along well together.
Faie and him would get along fairly well on the battlefield as far as following orders and having a cold/detached personality. Although Faie’s in this case is a lot darker than Neyo’s. Faie is also more likely to voice his mind and opinions on the matter at hand to his Jedi, where Neyo just keeps his mouth shut and follows whatever order is given. Neyo doesn’t like Faie. He respects and tolerates him.
Bly and Neyo would get along fairly well, especially on the battlefield. Especially with their determination to finish the mission and follow orders.
Cody is a maybe only because they both would get along in a sense that they are both by the book commanders, but as a brotherly bond type friendship probably not. They have very distinct personalities that don’t really match, but who knows.
Relationship
I don’t think having a relationship with someone would be something he would have ever thought to consider. But if he did meet someone that really interested him, he would be 110% invested in them whether he wanted to acknowledge his emotions at first or not.
Since he doesn’t deal with emotions very well he would probably try to bury those thoughts deep down.
It will take a long time of getting to know him before he starts to open up a bit to you. But once you push past that barrier he has up, he will be all yours.
Very protective, like to the EXTREME protective.
But that’s only because he is possessive(I feel like enough people have touched on this that I don’t need to explain this one)
Not a talker. He doesn’t really voice his love, so he expresses it more in his subtle actions.
He is awkward about hugs and all that at first, but after a while...
He’ll crave the love and affection.
A definite cuddler.
Pet names.
Wow I wrote a lot. I actually really enjoyed writing this even though writing it gave me some slight anxiety. Sorry if this is bad. This is my first time writing headcannons I think.😅 I’m sorry if I got anything wrong or if I didn’t do Neyo’s character justice. This is just how I always imagined Neyo being.🥺
