Omega: Can I borrow five dollars? Tech: If you’re only borrowing it, does that mean you’ll pay me back? Omega: Of course. Omega: Not directly, but with my love and affection. Tech: So that’s a no.

#2: Tech🖤
Hi! I'm really sorry to bother you, I'm not really sure if this is how you request? I've never done a request before! ~ I was wondering if you could do one for tech x reader? I'm really in a not so fun mental space right now so I would love it if maybe tech took care of the reader and helped them feel better? x Thank you!
I can't do much but I will help| Tech
Note: making it a male reader bc I realized I didnt write a male reader for tech yet, also sorry its too short.
Warnings: angsty, mentions of a past death, slight hint to ptsd (the reader has it)
Reader: male
Masterlist
Tech walked over to his bunk, Y/n still laying down with a blanket covering him, cup of caf in hand he tapped Y/n's sholder.
"Hey. Mesh'la. Its bad to be asleep this long. You gotta get up." He responded, worried that Y/n oversleeping would deprive him of needed nutritional vaule for the day.
(Bad Batch)Tech x Reader: Confrontation
(Author’s Note: This was a great request, and I had a lot of fun writing it. I’m like starting to fall for Tech all over again with this one. Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Original Request: Hello dear! I have a req, if that's alright? One my main tropes is when the readers love interest steps in and stops someone from hurting reader, but I thought it would be really interesting to have something like that written for Tech since he's not the confrontational type? Let's say the reader is meeting Tech for a date and a guy slides his hand up your skirt after you keep telling him off? And Tech sees it? Thanks <3)
“I meant no disrespect,” Tech assured the disgruntled trooper, holding up a hand to prove his point.
“Watch where you’re going.” The trooper gave a mere roll of his eyes before carrying on his way, and Tech turned his attention back to you.
It had been the most uneventful encounter you’d ever seen, and you were glad because you didn’t want any troops to fight each other. Sometimes the blinding lights and pounding music of places like this got the best of the men on top of the stresses they already carried. They were all on the same team, and you hated to see conflict arise over something so petty when there was a war going on. Fortunately, Tech wasn’t very confrontational in that situation and had enough sense to let it go. That was yet another reason you admired him so. You guessed it was from how he interacted with other members of his squad that were a little more direct.
“You good?” you asked, resting a hand on his shoulder.
He nodded. “Let’s find a seat.”
The two of you weaved through the groups of troops, staying close together, until you found an empty booth that could seat the both of you and leave room for the rest of the Bad Batch in case they changed their minds and decided to show up. It was unlikely, but not unheard of.
Tech stepped aside so you could enter the booth first. He sat down next, pressing his side against yours and taking your hand in his to rest on his lap. His thumb ran across your knuckles gently as he looked into your eyes for a moment.
“Hey,” you said, raising your voice just loud enough over the music.
“Hey,” he returned with a smile. His brows went up as if he just recalled something. “Did you want anything? Your usual, maybe?”
“Yeah, thanks, Tech.”
He gave you a slow and soft kiss, definitely not one that matched the high energy of your surroundings, but it left you surprised and wanting another. You instinctively chased his lips when he went to pull away, and Tech granted your request with another warm kiss before he finally pulled away.
“I’ll be right back,” he assured you. You nodded, resting an elbow on the table to lean your cheek against the palm of your hand while you waited. The kiss replayed itself over in your head, and you chuckled as you swiped the back of your hand across the corner of your lips. Tech really knew how to catch you off-guard sometimes. He wasn’t one to give automatic pecks on the cheek or give insincere replies- well, except when he was busy at his workbench. Then sometimes he’d reply with “yes dear” over his shoulder or give you a distracted kiss, but that was only when he was really carried away with his work, and it wasn’t something you took to heart. As a matter of fact, his dedication prompted even more admiration of him.
You were still preoccupied with thoughts of your boyfriend and hadn’t noticed another individual approach your booth. It wasn’t until he spoke that you finally glanced up and saw him. He wasn’t a trooper, just a guy with spiky hair and dark clothes.
“You okay? You look a little dazed!”
“Uh yeah,” you gave a chuckle. “I’m just waiting for someone.”
“Mind if I wait with you?” he asked, though he was already plopping himself down in the booth beside you. “Wouldn’t want some weirdo to come by and bother you while you’re alone.”
“That’s sweet of you, but there’s no need. My boyfriend won’t be long.”
The guy managed a disappointed look and his shoulders sagged as he sighed. “Boyfriend, huh?”
“Yes.”
“You sure?” he continued, resting a hand on your knee. “Because you and I can-”
“Mind getting your hand off me?”
“Oh, come on. I’m just-”
You rolled your eyes and started scooting out the other side of the booth, and to your annoyance, he was following you. You practically jumped out of the booth, coming face-to-face with Tech who steadied you before gently moving you to stand behind him. The guy had hopped out of the booth and stood in front of Tech with wide eyes at the realization he was busted, and not only that, but he was busted by a guy wearing the top half of his blacks- which meant he was a soldier.
“Are you bothering my girl?” Tech asked. “And did I see you chase her just now?”
“Hey man, I was just-”
You were surprised to see Tech take a few steps forward so he was right in front of the stranger, one hand grabbing his collar. “There isn’t anything you can say to justify it, so I’d advise you to not bother with excuses.”
The man met his gaze with a glare, but Tech didn’t budge for several seconds. Finally, he released the man’s shirt collar so the guy stumbled back unceremoniously. The man ducked his head and hurried off in the other direction, most likely toward the exit.
“That was….impressive,” you spoke up, stepping forward to take his hand.
Tech turned to search your face. “He didn’t hurt you at all, did he?”
“Other than being an annoying piece of bantha crap, he didn’t do anything. Thank you.”
“Good.” Then, Tech suddenly looked sheepish. “I forgot the drinks.”
“Well, that’s understandable. You just rescued me.”
“How about you come with me this time?”
“Sounds like a good idea.” You chuckled as he led you by your hand through the crowded place until you reached the counter. You observed him as he placed the order and even offered up an apology to another gentleman who accidentally bumped into him. Tech was still his usual self, avoiding conflict over senseless things. Even so, he had taken a stand when it was important- to protect you.
