To the “bot hunters” who make it their job to wade through the comments and report every single spambot in the comments. Who work together to assure that new or unassuming users don’t fall for their shitty scams. Who kindly and patiently answer other user’s questions of, “is this really *youtuber’s name*?” with a quick and definite no. We appreciate it.

To people who caption Youtube videos. People who caption correctly without promos, fanfiction, emojis/smilies, or extra content. People who caption with punctuation, and proper grammar, and capitalization. I know it feels like a one-way loosing battle sometimes but keep it up! You’re doing great! The hours it sometimes takes to transcribe even a 15 minute video is appreciated. Know that.

To people who do audio descriptions. People who work tirelessly to give as many people a chance to enjoy creators content as possible. I know audio discriptions is a niche part of Youtube that can only be done by 3rd party websites (get on this Youtube, we need a proper tool) but you’re helping the best you can! Your voices are strong and we appreciate your work.
