Hello! I’ve only recently discovered Clown Husbandry and I was wondering if you could maybe give a brief description of what it is?

Hiya! We get this question a lot but it’s always helpful to have a refresher!

Clown husbandry is the act of collecting, caring for and recording clowns and clown breeds! We here at the sanctuary specialize in taking in neglected, abandoned, sick or old clowns. Think of us like a normal animal shelter, but for clowns exclusively!

We take in all kinds of clowns, from rodeos to trapeze! And we offer lots of volunteer options, education events, and entertainment at the sanctuary. We also operate sort of like a zoo, as our campus is open to the public and you can come and visit, learn, and interact with the clowns.
