I always find it funny when corporate bootlickers try to justify the rapid extinction of species and destruction of habitat as “That’s just how nature is, it’s just natural selection” because like buddy, the reason we don’t want species dying off is not just because it could have unknown levels of ecological damage, but because we are a part of that ecosystem dumbass. It would not take much change to the earth before humans would be fucked. Like you fail to realize in your “natural selection of species” argument that we too, as humans, are also species, it would not take much for us to be naturally selected out of existence
