Simon and Kyle who yearn until they hurt, their hearts swelling as tears threaten their eyes any time they even think about the person they’re infatuated with. Call it devotion, loyalty, whatever they can call this feeling. Anything other than love.
For Simon, love never came easily to him. He always had complicated feelings about his mother and brother because of how complacent (and even participatory) in his abuse they’d been. Of course, they’d grown. Tommy had practically been a baby then, and his mother had also been a victim… But he could never forget, the scars on his mind and body still as painful as ever despite him managing it better now than before.
For Kyle, he’d always been too occupied with other things to even think about a special someone, nor did he think he deserved one. He’d gotten his hands dirty on multiple occasions due to his occupation, his blood soaked clothes and the way he’d memorized his favorite weapons making it all the more clear to him that he simply wasn’t worthy. He refused to rough someone up, refused to let them be tainted by his sins.
That’s why it hurts so much when they fall for each other.

The DC Fandom is becoming to much like the marauders Fandom ship wise. Why can't people just enjoy their own ships and scroll when they find one they don't like?
Came across an edit of Superbat too the song Andrew in drag on tiktok today, open the comments to expect love or support to the creator, and all I see is a bunch of hate because people can't keep their heads out of their asses and accept that people like a different ship then them. Lois and Clark are adorable and I love them, but I also love Clark and Bruce.
It reminds me of the whole "Jily vs Jegulus" which is also absurd to me.
Same thing is happening with COD.
It is not a personal attack that someone likes a different ship then you. You don't need to call someone sexist because they like a gay ship. Or say someone is fetishizing it because you don't like it. You have the ability to scroll, block, and never see the video, or post, again.
Do not turn what's supposed to be another safe and welcoming fandom into a toxic one.
For a moment i start to miss my cod phase but then i see a post on my tl hating on a harmless ship i like and then im reminded as to why i left the fandom
