This above is my colour swatches that have been taken from some retro inspired images that I came across when researching. Collecting a good range of both pale, toned down colours with vibrant, bold colours to get an equal balance between them. This allows me to start thinking about the colour scheme that I want to experiment with and use to represent my brand.

S A M P L E S I've taken on two new commissions this week which I just love to create. It's exciting to make a piece of work for a client that you know will be really personal and meaningful to them. It's also exciting as I get to look through all my sample colours to find the perfect match for the piece I've been asked to make. I feel like a kid in a sweet shop, so many delicious colours to choose from! Sometimes with a commission I will make a new and specific colour for it, using earth from the area I'm painting to give it that added personal touch. This isn't always possible though so then I get to rifle through this lot 😍 If you were commissioning a piece what colour would you choose? BTW I'm taking Christmas commissions.
