hey guys so I may or may not have made a combat system for Pharloomblr.. It is quite simple though!
I personally will be using this system unless I am told to use a differing one. And even then I haven't even bothered to learn WARble TvT so yeah if you're lazy like me and want the similar freedoms that SAD doesn't have, this is the system!

To begin with:
Each character has a base of 10 masks, and 2 d100s. One d100 is for attacking, and one d100 is for dodging.
Dice-rolling actions:
Attacking
Rolling for attacks is as follows:
1-50s a standard hit. These rolls deal a total of one mask of damage, no matter the hit rate.
51-100 is a heavy hit. These rolls deal a total of 2 masks of damage! No matter how high you roll after that! (If you get a nat 100, good for you, hell yeah)
When health reaches 0 or lower, the loser is considered knocked out. The outcome of the fight can be discussed between all parties engaged in the combat scenario.
Dodging
Dodging is nearly as straightforward as attacking is. How does one dodge, you ask? Well, it’s quite simple. Take the number from the previous attack from the opposing team, and roll a d100 for dodge. If the number is higher than the attacking number, then you avoid the hit. (Example 1: Party A rolls 56 for attack, Party B rolls 30 for dodge. The attack hits!) (Example 2: Party A rolls 56 for attack, Party B rolls 74 for dodge. The attack does not hit the foe, and combat continues!)
If one wants an attack to hit no matter what, rolling for dodge is not needed.
Abilities
Abilities are addons to a character that add special buffs or debuffs.
Buffs include:
1 extra damage can be dealt in an attack once every set amount of time
1 damage less taken per hit (Can only activate if opposing team rolls a 2 mask hit)
Adds of +1-15 to any roll! (attack, dodge)
Mask count buffs (Any one character can have up to 10 masks without buffs, 12 with buffs.)
Spells that can be used once every 2 or more turns that deal 2 masks of damage and a status effect
Really anything (WITHIN TRUE REASON. DON’T BE BUFFED AND OVERPOWERED BEYOND SAVING ON PURPOSE)
Debuffs include: (Mainly meant for flimsy characters)
1-2 less mask than normal (9-8 masks total)
Character can only deal one damage total no matter the roll
1 damage more taken per hit
-1-10 to any roll (attack, dodge)
(Anything! Like literally anything! Make your touy a piece of paper blowing in the wind on a rainy day, i really dont care lmfao)
Status effects:
Status effects are DoT stuffs that last UP TO 5 turns and can only be used every so often (However many turns the effect lasts x2. The longer the damage is received, the longer it takes to recharge.)
Status effects can take up to 3 turns to deal 1 mask of damage. Status effects can only deal 1 mask of damage total per turn.
Status effects can be:
Burn
Poison
Disease
Sleepy
Dazed
(Again, really anything one can think of within reason!)
