Hello, I'm isfj and my friend is intj. We value very different things, but I noticed that she and I sometimes behave very similarly, enough so that when we were young, we felt like sisters/twins. We would have the same judgments about a situation or person, take the same actions or make the same decision. We've become more different as we grew older, but was that similarity because of mirror functions? Part of it might also be that we had similar family situations.

Possibly. Young people, especially, are heavily influenced by their closest peers, as a normal part of their psychological development. It’s also easy to forget that human beings have more commonalities than differences.
