I really love the bombed out city playground that Fallout 4 gave. There was just something cool about it. Like, fuck the story and all that. The way you could enter one building at street level and cross the overpasses to get to other buildings was just really fuckin sick. I wish my FO4 save file hadn’t gotten so big that I can’t even reinstall it. (Fuck you nexus mods)

Duke of Kent's Wartime Visit to Canada
The Duke of Kent's 1941 six-week tour of Canada's air and naval bases.
In late July 1941, Prince George, the Duke of Kent and youngest brother of King George VI commenced a six-week visit to Canada primarily, but not exclusively, to visit airfields which formed part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP). The scheme which drew personnel from Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand-and expanded following the fall of France in June 1940-would…

Is The Coronation Valid?
I’ll be honest, this isn’t a subject I like to get too deep into, but somehow, it can’t pass without comment. It’s monumental enough I suppose on some level. Or at least it would be for me, as monarchist, if I felt that there was really anything valid taking place that would constitute the anointing and crowning of a Christian monarch. As it is, I look on at the pagan horror that seems to be…

Morning, #Massholes. I’ve been really proud to be part of The #Commonweath lately. Not really at all because of any of the blowhards under the #GoldDome, but more because of the citizens. We’re frequently annoyingly smug. We’re frustratingly duplicitous in our ethics. We’re often obnoxiously entitled. But in a pinch, our sense of #civic #solidarity is rather impressive. There’s something in the culture of this state that, when crisis hits, the kneejerk customs are to fuss and worry about neighbors with a concern akin to family. Under normal circumstances this feature is abrasively nosey, invasively bossy, and often unreasonably judgmental. But the upside of this trait shines like a #dawn #sun rising on a clear May morning when there’s trouble afoot. It’s in our history. It’s in our heritage. From #smallpox to #revolutions to #healthcare to #civilrights to rebuilding community sanity after attack, we somehow really know how to come together in the face of managing fuckery. The #numbersdontlie. We’ve been neighborly and #flatteningthecurve aggressively. And it’s not the result of fancy legislation or figureheads being championed. It’s just the weird, dug-in nature of #Massachusetts — and arguably, all of New England — culture. Lots and lots and LOTS of inconveniences and struggles still lie ahead. But man, am I own away by how well this states obnoxious and lovable citizens have mutually managed this crisis towards desirable results. We have lost many (and my heart aches when I think of them all), but we have saved far more. It’s a new day massholes. Get your dunks. Oh muh’GAWD: We got, like, a freakin’ wikked ton more t’do. ▫️ #covid19 #sunrise #coronavirus #corona #statepride #massholepride #hope #stayhome #socialdistancing #loveoneanother #kindness #keepgoing #BostonStrong #Boston #akaXN #TheRealXN (at Charles River Esplanade) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAVYOhIjqKY/?igshid=17jjrb490lu4b

NEW DELHI: On August 17, 2016, as soon as Vinesh Phogat’s right leg contorted into a gruesome angle, with her Rio Olympics quarter-final opponent Sun Yanan’s weight and strength weighing down on her right knee, the viewer immediately knew something was seriously wrong. That injury cut off Vinesh’s quest for Olympics glory and forced her into the rough road of rehabilitation, one no doubt…
