Thoughts On Robin #11

I find I always enjoy any scene/moment of Damian with his mother but now I actually enjoyed the parts with his grandfather as well. It was nice seeing Ra's take on Mother Soul - just wish it could have lasted a little longer, lol!

I mean, I get Ravager, Hawk and Flatline since he has seemed to bond with them even if only slightly. But is Respawn really considered Damian's "friend" at this point? Or did he just happen to be standing nearly? (Kind of like a photo bomb moment...)

That said, I like this group. It feels more natural than the Teen Titans group where Robin kind of seemed to just force himself into the middle and declare them his friends at random points. And even though it's only short, I generally liked them working together. I kind of want to see more of them, especially Hawk, Robin and Flatline.

I also do like Robin and Flatline. At least when the comic lets them just be natural. When they're being normal and casual, they're very sweet together and I do ship them. However whenever the comic does stuff like this:

It's very cringey. The tag team was cool and I like the idea of working together, but do they literally have to write the word "cute!" in it? Literally, even them staring at each other would be fine but that word just makes me roll my eyes a bit. Like it's really jamming the romance unnecessarily down your throat.

Still, like I said before, I like the three of them guys working together. Not just Robin and Flatline but Robin and Hawk are a nice team up too! Plus I think I just want to see Damian was more friends (especially now Superboy's not around that much...)

But like this is what I mean! I found this entire moment and lead up very sweet! I want more of this! I really do hope for more because I could see these two making a really nice couple! (*Fingers crossed*)

I especially loved Talia and Ra's reaction! XD Honestly these two little panels just made this my favourite issue! Haha!

And that ending... I mean we all knew it was gonna happen sooner or later somehow but I personally still wasn't expecting it! :D

So yeah... Good issue!
