Also, the Christmas special of Black Mirror had consciousness uploading/copying into an external portable chassis, it was the most BrightBox-esque thing I've seen yet, even more than in Her. It makes me glad I wrote Corpus Callosum as soon as I got the idea, before consuming other media about a similar concept could've influenced it or made it look super derivative. But I'm also glad other people are writing about similar concepts and doing completely different and equally fascinating things with it.
