“No. This is unacceptable. I didn’t agree to this.” Regulus gets out of his chair and begins pacing the room, then stops and points at Pandora. “I told you involving the Aurors was a bad idea. I don’t want a bloody guard dog crowding me every second of every day, and I especially don’t want Potter,” he spits the name with so much venom James is surprised it doesn’t burn a hole in the carpet, “anywhere near me.” 

“Come on, Reg, be reasonable. They threatened to snap your neck like a pigeon’s despite you being a magpie,” Pandora implores. “You need protection.” 

“Too heavy on the bird metaphors to take it seriously if you ask me,” Regulus snorts.

Today's polish is a fun one! It has a cobalt blue base with holo hex glitters in multiple sizes as well as holo crescent and circle glitters. It came with a bag of extra crescent and circle glitters for glitter placement, which I LOVED. I wish that always happened with chonky glitter polishes like this. As chonky as it was it smoothed out surprisingly well with a glitter smoothing topcoat plus a regular topcoat. This is Constellation Prize from KBShimmer.

The Zodiacs Realta AU

AU versions of the Zodiacs from the world of @rayleearts 's amazing webcomic (and my minor hyperfixation) Realta! I'm waiting to design Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius, and Pisces until we get guides to their signs' characteristics. Not all signs have appeared in the comic as of now. Aries

The main thing I changed was the hair. The ram horns were already there. Taurus

Replaced some of her flower jewelry with gold and silver. Removed her septum piercing since she's not married. Added seven eyebrow piercings to represent the Pleiades. Gemini

The obvious is that Gemini is two people in two separate bodies. Castor is on the right and Pollux is on the left. The wings are black swan wings, referencing Leda and the swan. I felt white swan wings would be confused for Virgo wings. They are mirror image twins, hence their brown and blue eyes being switched. Cancer

Aside from the minor change of her antennae being skin colored rather than hair colored, the major change is the third eye. Also changed some of her jewelry to be moon jewelry.

Leo

His animal features are unchanged. However, I got rid of his leopard print jacket to show off his sun tattoos. Virgo

CSP Virgo is just a normal human so the main change was adding the deer features and the wings. Her knot symbol is based off of wheat. Is Libra still her brother? I don't know. Scorpio

I struggled to place the extra set of arms. Also removed the extra pairs of eyes. Her hair color, tail, and braid already fit.

Capricorn

I could have kept her white hair but I like this dark brown. Her water form is pretty much the same but her land form was changed from goat legs to scales on otherwise human legs. Which means I needed to design pants and shoes for her. Can't wait to do the remaining four when I can.

Constellation Prize - The Zodiacs

The personifications of the zodiac constellations. They represent both the constellation and the sign, and their appearance and personality is not meant to apply that people with their sign are like that. Note: you might see me refer to both Scorpius and Capricornus and Scorpio and Capricorn. The former are the official names for the constellations while the latter are the more recognizable names of the signs. Aries - He/him (cis man)

A passionate man who needs to be in charge of everything. Loves competing with Mars and totally has a crush on him Taurus - she/her (trans woman)

System of Castor and Pollux, loves chatting but still needs to work on internal communication. Life of the party.

Cancer - she/her (trans woman)

An intuitive, emotional woman who is the heart and mom friend of the Zodiac. Loves to cry on Moon's shoulder. Leo - he/him (cis man)

Overly confident and can't stand not being in the spotlight, but he has a good heart. Loves boasting to the Sun.

Virgo - she/her (cis woman)

A smart perfectionist who works on growing a perfect garden. Libra's sister.

Libra - he/him (trans man)

A social man who bounces between friend groups. Very concerned with fairness and notices if one of the Zodiacs is taking up too much of the talk time. Also blind. Virgo's brother.

Scorpio/Scorpius - she/her (trans woman)

Warning for multiple sets of eyes

A mysterious woman who never lets anyone but the little troublemaker Pluto know what she's up to. Loves causing mischief. But there's more to her than just a bad girl.

Sagittarius - he/him (cis man)

A hardworking woman who cannot stand it when the other Zodiacs party and slack off. Discusses time management and business with Saturn. She's a satyr on land and a mermaid in water.  Aquarius - he/him (cis man)

A brilliant inventor who loves solving problems and is not too good with people. Always willing to hear new ideas. Loves learning new things from Uranus.

Pisces - she/her (trans woman)

A spacey woman who is usually daydreaming. Loves chatting dream interpretation with Neptune. Design by mooneria on Toyhouse.

Constellation Prize - The Basics

I was going to post my zodiac personifications but I thought I should explain the project they are attached to first. It's called Constellation Prize and it's all about constellation personifications. The Constellation Watchers, or just Constellations, are magical artificial humans living on the inside of a glass sphere that represents the celestial sphere. They have hair and skin covered in stars. If their constellation represents an animal, they have animal features.

The gender of a constellation is based on the grammatical gender of their name. Latin words can be masculine, feminine, or neuter. Constellations with neuter names tend to be transneutral nonbinary and use they/them. With the Zodiacs, whether the sign is considered masculine (air, fire) or feminine (earth, water) overrides the grammar rule. So, half the Zodiacs are trans men or women. The stars are fairies that the constellations can summon. The Sun, Moon, and Planets are object headed people revered by the constellations. They move between the territories of the zodiacs. Each constellation controls an area on the inside surface of a glass sphere. Each constellation also has a palace within the land they control that represents the main pattern of their constellation. The brightest stars of the constellation live within the palace, while the dimmer ones live outside. Each constellation can decorate their land and palace however they wish, and as a result they are heavily themed. The brighter the constellation, the more elaborate their palace. Orion and Scorpius have some of the most fancy.

The zodiac constellations are the constellations for which the Ecliptic Road passes through their territory. The Ecliptic Road is the path that the Sun uses to travel through the Celestial Sphere. Each constellation along the Ecliptic Road takes turns hosting the Sun for about a month each. Technically the Ecliptic Road passes through the territory of Ophiuchus, but since Scorpius has a nicer house, the Sun prefers her.

The Zodiacs also rule over the constellations, forming the Zodiac Council. Each constellation is part of the district of the zodiac constellation with the nearest right ascension (sky longitude). If there is a tie, as there are twelve of them, sometimes they give Ophiuchus a vote and sometimes they give Gemini two. The Zodiacs don't accept Ophiuchus as one of them, though they have to stay on his good side, as he controls the only hospital. The reason his house isn't as nice as Scorpius's is because so much of it is dedicated to the hospital.

Wait is this still the basics? Oh well. The abbreviation for Constellation Prize is CSP. Not to be confused with Clip Studio Paint. I use Krita.

The closest one I could find for this one is from my one and only FNAF fic—perhaps unsurprisingly lol

Gregory looks over his new workspace, annoyed to see that no one had cleaned it in a long while. Dust and stray papers and those stupid little sun candies were strewn all across it, a broken pen spilling crusty ink next to the keyboard. There's even a few smeared little handprints on the drawers; like a child had snuck behind the desk and attempted to snoop, only to be forcefully dragged away.
