the wardrobe storytelling in the show 'contrast' is subtle but loud for eyes to see. especially in the episode 5, all the teenagers are wearing trendy clothes, outfits associated with youth and playfulness, however, akira has a more conservative/grown-up style. it can be showing his reserved nature but it also tells that akira only hangs out with a grown-up aka the man grooming him (kanda). kanda has totally shaped akira's approach and outlook towards life.

i want to see if akira's style changes as he makes it out of that groomer's grasp.

My Love Mix-Up!

This was soo wholesome i love them sm. Although there was no kiss scene, you can still feel the chemistry between ida and aoki. It was filled with funny and wholesome moments i cant help but feel so giddy and laugh. It was a really fun watch and I would always go back to this one as it became one of my fave comfort shows to rewatch.

School Trip: Joined a Group I'm Not Close To

I CANT TELL YOU GUYS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS ONE SM. I WAS HYPERFIXATED ON IT FOR WEEKS! I watched edits on it on tiktok and found someone post the eng translation of the novel on wattpad (thanks niya!) And i would just consume everything related to this whenever i can. I WAS DEVASTED when it ended like what am i gotta do now.

Cherry Magic

I LOVE THIS BL SM. IT IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BL (School trip is a close second though hehe). This made me feel all the feels. I started watching the anime then the live action film and lastly, the series. I really enjoyed this one and it has a special place in my heart. This bl made me start watching live action bls and got hooked on it. Love the chemistry and the plot. Despite the long ass name and no kiss scene, you can still feel the love between kurosawa and adachi and how the plot is soo good. I recommend this one along with school trip!

Our Dining Table

This made me cry. It was kinda sad watching Yutaka's backstory but im glad he found someone he can call his home 🥹🥹🥹. The chemistry between Minoru and Yutaka is cute. Overall, it was a fun watch despite some sad scenes here and there.

Love is Better The Second Time Around

The pacing and storyline of this bl is really nice. I enjoyed the dynamic between the two main characters and how it had a full circle moment. Really enjoyed this one!

Smells Like Green Spirit

This is an amazing bl. The plot is soo good. This show does not only focus on boys love but also what it is like being queer during the 1990s. It made me cry seeing what happened to kirino at the end he deserves better. Love how the storyline had a trans character and how it is different from other bls. It is not just your conventional bl and dives deeper into mature and a more nuanced type of bl which i really enjoyed. Overall, it was really good.

This is currently my new fave bl im fixated on. I also love the chemistry in this drama and the plot really got me hooked. Its not your typical high school bl and it got me really intrigued on the story. Kanda deserves prison. I just want to give akira a hug man.
