discovered a new type of red flag: people that want the adaptation to be identical to the source work. like, if it's an adaptation there's a reason. if you want the exact same things, go read the book.

Y'know.
Looking back in Mystreet s6, I wish Jess had included the Divine Warrior's relics. Like, literally the entire season was ABOUT the relics. It was about friends/family getting turned into them, Michael/the Demon Warlock was obsessed with finding Irene's relic (seems he's taken a page from Zane's book), Aphmau literally turns her friends into relics to fight the Demon Warlock.
So my question is, why didn't we have the OG relics????? No really, think about it. If Jess was so insistent on including MCD in Mystreet (it's her story so she can do what she wants with it), why not include the relics?? It could be a passing the torch kind of thing. And idk I think it would've been way cooler to see the new generation of relic users fighting Michael side by side. Y'know?
Zane could've been the one to find the relics hidden under the island. Maybe we could even get a flashback via magic showing the original MCD cast (Aphmau, Garroth, Laurance, etc) sealing the relics away so no one would ever use them again... until Mystreet Zane found them of course but tomato tomato.
And then for season 7, we could see the characters who got relics (Aphmau, Zane, Lucinda, etc) learning to adjust to this new magic they've been gifted. It definitely would've felt like more of a natural idea to merge MCD and Mystreet together imo.
I might just turn this into an AU actually-
Gonna go watch Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein with my girlfriend. I’ll let you guys know if I come away with any new babies
I don't even fuck with Gooseworx like that and I think it's so silly and stupid y'all got her to ragequit
Like the people who did this didn't even have a reason for it y'all are just spoiled and annoying
Y'all had no genuine criticism y'all were just assholes
But when I want it acknowledged that Goose was quicker to address shipping wars in the fandom than rising racism and their failure to do so quickly allowed in trolls from 4chan to occupy the fandom space making it feel unsafe for black fandom members causing some of us to leave some folks got mad at me criticizing her saying this is why indie is struggling and "just let people have fun"
Well...y'all had your "fun" alright
Y'all had so much fun you sapped it away from the creator
Now the creator can't stand y'all
Y'all were acting like black people speaking out was gonna be the nail in the coffin while y'all were the ones holding the hammer
Savor the last episode in theaters fellas I hope the smell burns off your eyebrows
Because there's no actual way
so like.
if shadow milk's whole thing about identity and willingly giving up the fount of knowledge because that was a very restraining position what wasn't allowing him to be himself and express himself and saying fuck this imma be who i want to be is a trans allegory and like we all agree it is (see the yogurt river of rebirth)
then.
pure vanilla's perpetual identity crisis and them constantly having to confront different parts of their identity they had been pushing away and ignoring (im talking about both og vanilla kingdom lore and beast yeast eps 7&8) can also very much be taken as a trans allegory right?
anyway any pronouns pure vanilla canon (to me)
guys im thinking of getting a new phone which one should i get :)
I need something light and nice and not evil. how is the octonauts fandom?
I love it when you open a box of cookies and find smaller, individually wrapped packs inside. It takes away the pressure of having to commit to an entire box of cookies. You can just say “Okay, I’ll try these, and if I don’t want to finish them, I can leave them aside for weeks or even months.” Because it doesn’t matter, since they have their own little package you’re not forced to eat them all up as soon as possible. (Yes, I am eating separately-packaged cookies as I’m writing this. 🤓🍪)
