Is this a safe space to say most telepaths in media make me incredibly uncomfortable because most of them do things that violate others autonomy or privacy and get away with it or treat it as though it's okay for them to do it simply because they have the ability to do it....
Like growing up I didn't like Professor X, Miss Martian, Jean Grey, Emma Frost and her triplets or terror (those girls scare me what is their problem), etc.

I also didn't like that they'd take personal offense to your private thoughts like they'd treat them as though you said it out loud or something like you can't think one of them is kinda a jerk without them saying "what'd you say?" And brain frying you
Like imagine having intrusive thoughts around them bro your brain is soup your head will literally start to deflate from the amount of psychic damage you will take
If I was in a hero universe I'd be so scared of telepaths y'all
Because genuinely what is their issue
The amount of times they've casually lobotomized folks is insane and worse part is it'll be their own FRIENDS
So when watching BND and seeing Jean and Sarah bonding over possessing people which to me looks very violating I had a hard time feeling bad when Sarah got snatched (I did gasp and was shocked and sad over the V MAX thing because ya know that was Sarah's final view)
But yeahhhh I'm just kinda nervous for X Men because X Men telepaths at times might as well replace to tele with psycho low-key
I don't trust them they give me the heebie and again just make me uncomfortable
(I mean this for telepaths from any media not just Marvel X Men but they're some of the most egregious with how they hardly have to take accountability for their actions or they never think of the implications of their actions)
