I'm always receiving inquires about what I'm eating to keep healthy and in shape; so I figure why not compose a mini video of some of my favorite meals for you all to try! I'm in no way a chef or nutritionist. These are simply videos on what I like to eat, and what works for me. If you have any special health needs, consult your medical professional before trying these foods.
In this MorphSode of "What's Mish Eating?!" I whip up a quick and easy Pan Seared Rockfish and Wok Fried Brussels Sprouts!
For the fish I use fresh ingredients from my local farmers market to make a delicious light and spicy marinade. Fresh lime juice, mint, lemon basil, and jalapeno are mixed with grapeseed oil, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and sea salt; then blended with a touch of Earth Balance. Rockfish is then covered with the mixture and refrigerated for as long as possible.
When ready, cook fish in a heated pan for 3 minutes on each side, or desired completion.
The brussels sprouts are covered with a mixture of grapeseed oil, fresh garlic, red and yellow onion; tossed with a salt free garlic herb seasoning, rainbow peppercorns, lemon pepper, and black pepper. Once thoroughly mixed, toss sprouts into heated wok and cook for 7-10 minutes. Check heat and lower once onions and sprouts begin to color for even cooking.
