Working on background and layout design for college. Here are four of my favourite backgrounds I've drawn. I'm really enjoying creating this, it surprised me a lot. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it this much.
I tried doing a 3 point perspective with the ruined house but it just ended up as 2 point. 3 point is annoyingly dynamic and difficult to work with without a really distant vanishing point.
I updated my character concept sheet, the new finished version with a slight rename. Trey Buff is Trés Buff ;) Quarterback of the football team and star of the school, if he's not stealing yo heart he's stealing yo lunch money. Watch yo-self.
Assignment 3! Another Head turn but this ones a bit different. Have to admit the angles made it a bit trickier but I figured it out quickly and I’m pretty happy with the results.
(GIF) Turn around animation of a modified Trey Buff. Interesting note to make on character concept development is how much friendlier he looks with this shape and change in facial features!
Here are some background sketches I did for the tricky pans and bird eye views of cityscapes and buildings for the sweded trailer. These actually took me a few hours each, I definitely spent way too much time on these....
Limerick School of Art & Design. First Year Animation & Motion Design workshop on "Pixelation". Put together in less than a day, a short and simple piece! Group project so equal credit to all students involved!
This was a GIF I made using photoshop before I started my movie poster animation brief. I was playing with lighting trying to decide what exactly I would do for the animation. It was really simple to make, just a black layer and some opacity editing. I just thought I'd share it anyway because it looks cool.
Final illustration for “tiny” is a whole tiny scene on an ice cream cone! Photography and illustration done by yours truly of course.
