So, my nurse is looking to change my ADHD meds from Xaggitin XL to Strattera, after Xaggitin sent my trichotillomania through the roof (I’m at the point I’ve had to warn the boyfriend that my bald spot might be bigger when I see him on Monday). I’ve seen a lot of people talk about the emotional effects of Strattera (a lot of people have mentioned emotional blunting) so I’m curious if any counsellors/therapists are on Strattera, and if so, if it had any impact on their ability to empathise with clients, or an impact upon their congruence? I have no concerns about my UPR being impacted, but my empathy and my congruence are the two that I’m keen to protect, to ensure that I’m working in the best interests of my clients.
