i made the mistake of reading the dms that were exchanged between james ransone and young fans who were attempting to have a conversation with him about his homophobia, transphobia, et al. and they were extremely disturbing and unhinged on his side. i understand that kids are well-meaning and think people can be reasoned with, but it just isn’t so. james ransone has a history of saying incendiary things that are just on the verge of fully blatantly bigoted. accusing 15-year-olds of supporting child pornography because they ship richie and eddie, sending minors—or anyone—pictures of dead bodies, saying trans people are all mentally ill or that trans children are being abused by their parents, demanding minors show proof of their age, this is completely beyond anything he has said or done before. i really don’t know what else to say besides i wish people would stop trying to reason with him through instagram dms. he’s a bad person. there’s no changing that. he’s always said that he doesn’t care if he gets “cancelled” and never gets to act in a movie again. he’s just going to keep saying these things and hurting people and being a bad person.

If anyone else did what Kellyanne Conway did they would have gotten an automatic 10 years in prison and be labeled as a sex offender for the rest of their life. Because that's the minimum sentencing in the US legal system for POSSESSION of child porn. Not even distribution, which is what she did, but just possession of it gets you an automatic 10 years and makes you a registered sex offender.
