Notice
As much as I know people love this AU, I will be taking a break from it.
Even thinking about this AU has become unhealthy for me.
Whenever I see another furry AU, my brain immediately starts comparing it to mine, and it stresses me heavily, even to the point of making me feel physically sick.
I am very sorry about this. There is no problem with other furry AUs, just a problem with me. I will start posting again when I no longer feel sick when drawing art for this AU.
I will be taking a break from Hatchetfield as a whole as well. I will be making more fan artwork for other StarKid musicals, primarily Starship most likely, but nothing for Hatchetfield. It has become unhealthy for me to interact with the community, and I deeply apologize.
Do not harass any other furry AU creators, and please, do not try to change my mind on this. I cannot interact with this community anymore.
I understand many are fans of my work, and once again, I am so sorry. I never wanted to do this, but I cannot stand looking at Hatchetfield media anymore.
Hatchetfield fans are still allowed to interact with me and my main account, but don’t expect me to interact with you much.
I hope you all respect my decision. Thank you.
-Grace.
behind the scenes for t2 interrogations
in t2, due to complications caused by prison's rules, i started to think more about the context around the interrogations rather than simply "what would the character say". so here are some of my thought processes and trivia facts that were left behind the scenes that i can remember.
I might do a similar thing with t3 interrogations after the end of the trial
Fourth interrogation:
Question 1, answer for Kouta: The interrogation card for this answer has shaky lines on it; the timeline conversation posted on the same day as this answer is about Kouta's attempt to break the rules. By "the inconvenience", Toa means that Kouta attempted to write on his own despite not being allowed to do it due to his position as a Victim. The shaky lines are intended to convey that he was in physical pain and unable to write.
Remi writes the answers for both Ayame and Miku for the first 7 questions, before getting replaced by Chise in Miku's answers. Q.5, Q.6 and Q.7 set a build-up for why Remi dropped answering for Miku. She says "this kid has it hard" in Q.5, "all of his answers are so depressive" in Q.6, and leaves out any of her comments in Q.7, before finally passing him to Chise starting from Q.8.
In Question 12, Chise answers for Ayame instead of Remi. The reason is that Remi wants to be Ayame's "favorite person", and doesn't want to listen to Ayame talking about someone other than her — which obviously happens because Ayame had a boyfriend — so she leaves the interrogation. For a similar reason, she leaves in Question 24 and doesn't return for the last question.
Chise increasingly tries to make us pity Miku and defend him with her answers starting from Question 17. While this is how she has been generally treating him in T2 and what she also tries to do in his voice drama earlier, it's fun to think that it's because Hotaru asked her to go easy on him in a timeline conversation that was posted on the day of Miku's voice drama.
Chise's answer in Question 18 is unusually short and simple for her speech style because she is lying about what Miku answered and trying to omit his answer.
In Question 20, Toa crossed out the answer, then wrote it again. This is because Kouta came up with an answer, then stopped Toa writing mid-way, then told him to write it anyway. Generally, Kouta verbally told Toa much more than what Toa wrote in the answers, because Toa only wrote what Kouta told him to write. I don't remember the details anymore, but for a lot of the answers I drafted out little conversations between them to figure out what Kouta would tell Toa to write.
Kouta has stated before why he chose Toa as the person to write his answers. Ayame and Remi were paired up, so they didn't consider any other options. Also, Remi had to be present together with Toa (because Perpetrators aren't allowed to go outside of their rooms without a Savior accompanying them). Remi was initially (before inviting Chise) answering for Miku out of pity, because Toa wouldn't do it — they were in a fight.
This is not something implied in the graphics or text in any way (although I can imagine how I could do it... but I just didn't...), but a lot of Remi's comments were added only after everyone left the interrogation room, due to that everyone present in the room is allowed to read or know other people's answers, including Victims being able to read what was written for them. When Remi portrayed Ayame in negative light in her additions, Ayame couldn't know it.
Sixth interrogation:
The reason why Hiiro started to feel sick and left the interrogation room in Question 16 is because Hotaru confirmed that they (Hotaru) are dead by saying that it's impossible for them to come back to the real world.
Chise's answer for Hotaru in Question 18 is not Hotaru's actual answer. Chise, in general, simplifies Hotaru's (and Miku's when she gets to answer for him) answers a lot. While for example Remi wrote the actual answers but added a lot of her own thoughts and observations, and Toa wrote exactly what he was told to write, Chise approached the interrogation as retelling a story that she doesn't care about and was neglecting being accurate or detailed about the answers.
Hotaru didn't get any choice in who gets to write their interrogation answers, because Chise was both their Savior and a part of a trio with them, she wouldn't allow anyone else to write for them. She only allowed Hiiro to replace her from Question 19 to Question 23 because, as stated by Hiiro, she got jealous and was holding a grudge.
In Question 25, rather than answering, Chise responds to Hotaru and Hiiro in her answer.
There are times when I think I know where this story goes, and then it decides to take me down a different path to the same destination.
I imagine this is what Destiny goes through every day.

if anyone has ideas on how to remove the oil (between all the folds too, i know i could clean it before folding but its very very delicate and easy to tear) please let me know!! im planning to store these oily ones in an airtight container but i honestly don't know how they'll age
So I just remembered that I have to make the kwamis for the Miraculous Series. And the story. And the plot. And everything else. And I definitely not being lazy. Hahahaha… *sigh*
Anyway here we go, because I like to just leave some photos here:
Tikki (my version, my human Tikki version):
Plagg (my version, my human Plagg version):
Trixx (my version, my human Trixx version):
Pollen (my version, my human Pollen version):
Wayzz (my version, my human Wayzz version):
I'm sorry if they're ugly, but I'm trying to keep it as close to canon as possible (the kwamis, not the humans. The humans are wonderful). And I'll make the series based on the informations that has been given between the 1st and 5th seasons, since I didn't see the new episode yet. Or the London special.
