First, I want to say that it will take some time to post the first miraculous ep, since I had to reinstall my Gacha plus the difficulty that I have making a script.

It's been a year and I still managed to NOT post the start of the story. I'm indecisive about how I post everything. First, I wanted to make it full text. Then, I wanted to make full text, but with some photos here and there. I sticked with it and started making a script, even though he's ugly as hell, and I started taking some photos on Gacha Life 2.

So, what is the problem?

Gacha Life 2 does not have the scenarios I need, and I don't want to keep using background eraser apps the whole time (I'm lazy :P). So I decided to use both Gacha Life 2 and Gacha Club, which means that I'll have to redo my ocs in Gacha Club.

These dudes are fucking legit.  They don’t just show up one day in court, either, they actually make friends with the kids and let them know they have a support system and that there are people in the world who care about them and will always have their back.  And less important, but also cool, is that the few times a couple of them have come into my cafe, they’ve been super friendly and polite and when I told one of the guys that I noticed his Bikers Against Child Abuse patch and wanted him to know how awesome I thought he was because of it, he got kind of shy and blushed and said, “The kids are the awesome ones, we just let them know they’re allowed to be brave.”

Guys? This post changed my life. I saw this post. Forever ago. And thought it was only in america… and wished desperately that they could help me. But then I saw it again, during a bad episode, and checked their site. They aren’t just in the USA

They’re in Canada as well and probably other countries. I met and talked with a native guy who runs the place near me. His name is Shaman. I got in, and I’m considered a BACA child now. Despite being 17, turning 18 when I talked to them. They spent time with me when my abuser was over, they gave me therapy resources. They give you something called a ‘level 1′ where they go to your house with as many bikers as they can, i shit you not a solid 20-40 bikers came from even out of province, and met me. I got to choose my biker name and I got a vest with patches on it and my name on it. They all hugged a Teddybear before giving it to me, and told me if I ever felt the BACA bear was running out of love, to give them a call and they’d refill it for me, and then I got a ride on one of their bikes. Just a day or so ago I went to an annual party with them and they we ate food one of them cooked and had a lot of laughs. 

I’ve never felt as loved as I did being a part of the BACA family. They also gave me dog tags with the names, and phone numbers of my 2 workers.  So I can call them whenever I feel scared. 

BACA is an absolutely wonderful group that will do everything in it’s power to help any child whos been abused. 

And it doesn’t end when you’re 18 either. As long as you get in contact/get your level 1 before you’re 18? you’re ALWAYS a BACA kid. I’m 18 now and they still invite me to parties, ask me if I’m okay, and are there for me. They’re still trying to find me resources for therapy. 

BACA has changed my fucking life.

Signs someone asking you for a commission is a bot or scammer:

- Their username is two-four random words stuck together

- Their pfp is default or picture of generic attractive lady or flowers or something

- They ask for a commission on your newest post less than 5 minutes after you post

- They don’t follow you/have never interacted with you

- They say anything along the lines of “Hey I love your art, please dm me so I can commission you!” — people who actually want to commission you will usually dm you first

- If you’re unsure, you can ask them how they found your blog or why they want to commission you specifically

- If they complain about a watermark—ALWAYS WATERMARK YOUR ART!!!! Add a big obnoxious watermark when you show them wips and only remove it when you are payed!!!

I have a family friend who worked at our local Salvation Army headquarters as a a secretary. This particular office took all the Christmas donations for children in need, put them in a warehouse, and on a designated day the staff and their friends picked through them all, taking whatever they wanted. She saw people hauling away bikes donated for specific families. Some local children had hundreds of dollars of gifts donated in their name, and on Christmas they received three cheap things, items likely not even from the person who sponsored them.

My friend quit, and I’ve not given them a dime of my money since then.

I’m a wildfire and disaster logistics specialist.

I deal with a lot of agencies who provide disaster relief.

I used to say the Salvation Army’s disaster services were the one (literally the ONE) good thing they did.

They would come in, set up a canteen trailer, make and pass out hot coffee and donated food in a disaster, usually being one of the first agencies to get there and the last to leave.

Then I found out.

Every time they did this, regardless of if they were actually invited or deployed by the agency in charge (usually FEMA, sometimes others) they would SELF-DEPLOY. Meanjng they would just show up. Ok. That’s not TOO bad, sometimes agencies have to take initiative and get there before the red tape is sorted out. BUT. They, after they left at the end of the incident, they would send FEMA or the host agency a BILL. They used one or two paid employees (usually the driver of the truck and a supervisor); and many VOLUNTEERS, but they would bill for EVERYONE’s Labor at standard federal rates. They would bill for the food they distributed even though it was all donated by another agency or private parties. They would bill for the coffee they made and the supplies. Except they would use electricity from the shelter location, water from donations or from the shelter, and in many cases, they would get the coffee and industrial filters DONATED, but bill for them at retail prices.

Recently Tumblr account have been getting scammed with hijacked accounts messaging on tumblr that they have been “accidentally reported” and that they were sorry and from what very limited information I’ve seen they get you onto discord.

They are not.

Whilst pretending to be tumblr support staff on Disxord they will then try to convince you to change to a “database email” and tell you to log out of your account and uninstall the app

Do not do this, if you have changed your email and have given them the authentication code they will have control over your account and change your password to lock you out

They will say they will temporarily ban your account and that you need to file an appeal, but you will need to send them money in order to verify .

After they tell you to wait 7 days.

This is most likely done so you don’t notice your account has been stolen.

This is the current list of hijacked (SO DO NOT HARASS THESE PEOPLE IT IS NOT THEM) accounts:

If anyone ever comments on your post anything along the lines of “wow your arts so good can I commission you please dm me,” that is a scam. Block them.

I know it can be really exciting as an artist when someone wants to commission you, but these people are trying to take advantage of that— they just scroll through the newest tab of “#art” and spam every single artist they find.

Common signs that someone asking you for a commission is a scam:

- They aren’t following you, or only follow you for a day or two. People who purchase commissions want to be really sure they like a person’s art style— I hate to say it, but there will always be other artists with cheaper prices.

-They have a likes/following tag that is either empty, close to empty, or has nothing in common between the posts and blogs other than the art tag. People come to tumblr for fandom and community, they don’t just mindlessly scroll through the art tag.

- Regular bot things like usernames of three randomly generated words stuck together, default pfps, or pfps of generic pretty woman #5,326

- They offer to pay wildly more than your named price— they’re trying to shock you so that you’re paying less attention. Typical price I’ve seen is $300.

- They ask you to draw something completely unrelated to your previous art, like just “a cat”

- They tell you that the payment program you’re trying to use needs to “upgrade your account” with a fee that they have to pay and to send them money for it. NEVER SEND SOMEONE ELSE MONEY IF THEY’RE TRYING TO COMMISSION YOU. Any account upgrades for payment programs usually cap at hundreds to thousands of dollars, and would only ask the account owner to pay, never someone else paying them. Their payment towards you isn’t real, anyway— they either fake the payment completely or dispute the payment with their bank to withdraw it.

- If they ask to move communications to another program, like Instagram or Telegram.

- They complain about you watermarking your art. Huge red flag. WATERMARK UNPAID COMMISSIONS WITH THE MOST OBNOXIOUS WATERMARK YOU CAN FIND. DO NOT REMOVE IT UNTIL THEY HAVE PAID.

Also, do not walk close to walls. It will be easier for someone so walk past you and push you against it or corner you.

If your gut is telling you to cross the street or change your path, do it. Don’t risk it. Your body knows.

If you can, buy a large umbrella and walk holding it. Studies say that predators are less likely to attempt an attack on someone that could fight back. Keys around your knuckles is fine but you’ll need to get very close to do damage. Umbrellas are more precise.

Avoid wearing headphones if you are alone on an empty street. Look aware.

Again: Stay. Away. From. Walls.

Entering an uber alone? Call your father (or anyone you trust) and say “hey dad! Yep, I’m almost there, I’m sending you the route.” outloud. Then proceed to send them the route so they can follow the uber drive. This will most likely intimidate the predator.

If you see someone in an uncomfortable or possibly dangerous situation, walk up to them and say “Betty, oh my god, I haven’t seen you in so long!”. If she gets slightly confused, you can whisper and let her know you’re trying to help and that she should follow along. Walk together to another station or away from where you are. The man will most likely not follow. I have done this one 2 times and can be very helpful.

If you are unsure she needs help, you can pass her a note saying something like “hey, I noticed this man beside you is making you uncomfortable. If you’d like help, fake a sneeze right now and I will come up to you and pretend we are friends.” This is a long note, but its an example. Be discrete. If she follows along, proceed with the previous tip. This is helpful when you’re in a crowded train and you notice harassment.

Help your sisters. Trust them. Trust yourself. Be safe.

I was as taught that if it’s a man and I’m able, kick them as hard as possible in the balls. Apparently it hurts badly enough to render them unable to move/attack for a bit, long enough to call for help or run or beat him up further so he genuinely can’t continue to attack you

To be clear, THIS is how nights of the future should be lit

This is bat friendly street lighting, which not only looks sick as fuck but allows bats to pass through without disturbance, as they cannot see red.

orange and especially white lights deter bats and prevent them from reaching feeding grounds at nighttime. Please if you can, write to your local council and encourage red street lights!!!!
