Wild Wolves
Dorcas needed time to herself, her little makeshift pack, her and her two sisters, could get stifling. They’d grown up with nothing but each other, and both Agatha and Prudence could get intense.
She loved them, dearly. But still-
So she found herself in a bar, in one of the strange towns they drifted into, and as she turned, her drink in hand, she caught a man drinking alone’s eyes. In the back of her head, she felt something inevitable, snap into place. She was walking towards him a little dazedly, holding his gaze.
And she sank into the seat at the other side of the booth without even asking, feeling a little dizzy. “I, do I know you?” she asked, softly, even as her instincts screamed at her that she knew just what this was. Impression.

Kara had not thought it possible to be this exhausted, especially not while still feeling as if the power of a thousand suns was pulsating below her skin. There should have been blood staining it, the blood of those she had held dear, but that had sank in so quickly, gallons and gallons of it just flowing in like a waterfall.
The shadows had protected her, and the first rush of energy had set so many things on fire...before the second had helped take out roughly half of the city and from what she had seen on her way here had done something to the minds of those that survived.
With those who had harmed what was hers turned to ash and the energies faded from the bodies of her family there was nothing she could think to do, no more outlets for the energy, and no safe place to rest.
Boiling with unknowable rage and feeling her form shifting in ways it never had before the only thing she could think to do was run to find one of the few people left who might be able to help, and who she could find on such short notice.
Clawed fingertips dug into the door, and an uncontrolled tendril of darkness crushed a nearby car as she did her best to knock, hoping she could be heard above the car-alarm. Surely her father’s friend could help, or if he wouldn’t then she could always try and eat him. After all eating him would make sense, and right now she needed that.

In a blink of his glowing amber eyes he buried his head in her neck, giving her a rough, but ultimately loving kiss. Immediately, he pulled away, the glow gone. “Why haven’t we met before.”
“You missed, love.” Delanie said with a tilt of her head, moving her hand to cup the back of his head. She lifted his head and tugged it back slightly, practically glaring at him. “I’ve been in a forest for the last six years.”
Nemesis had heard of the Chaos Dragon, his name rippled through the tales and left claw marks across everything it touched. There was little delicacy she could see in the actions of that vainglorious beast, a being as impetuous as his title would suggest.
In the past she had kept to the fringes, but recent events had brought her power to new height, and with it a stability she had long sought. What better time to play games than now, and what better target than one that would surely be easy to bait.
“Why do you keep struggling for relevance when they have no need of you? Has the mighty Chaos Dragon already succumbed to the effects of old age, and the constant attempts to regain a glory that was never truly yours to begin with?”

Dark Queen {{Puck/Sigyn}}
Sigyn hummed to herself as she sat by the river, picking flowers and weaving them into a crown. It was a rare occasion when her mother allowed her in the mortal realm by herself but Sigyn has been able to sweet talk her way into such an occasion.
Once the crown was finished, she placed it upon her head and smiled. She knew she’d never be more than the goddess of spring, but even she had dreams of being royalty. Sighing softly, she lifted the skirt of her dress enough to dip her feet into the river, unaware someone was watching her.

“You’re in Amazon lands, why are you here?” Maeve asked the intruder with her sword raised. “Turn around, you are not welcome here.”
