It's July so you get a total of one ☝️ post with effort in it!
Some systems will say that they're introject heavy, because their fragments latch onto characters instead of developing into brainmades. We are one of those systems!
For us, we have two main factors:
What makes this character relatable to us?
What other smaller factors reinforce the bond?
For example: I am an introject of Agent 4 from Splatoon 2. The main reasons I latched onto Agent 4 is that Splatoon is a comfort game for us and that her canon personality is similar to ours irl.
However, there are more reasons. Everything listed is something that we also did/related to;
Agent 4 is out of touch with pop culture
Agent 4 does many extracurriculars
Fast learner
Lives in the middle of nowhere
Our friends were also Splatoon fictionkins
we had friendgroup problems and felt alone a lot like agent 4 WHO HASNT APPEARED ONCE IN ANY OF THE SPLATOON CAMPAIGNS AFTER OCTO CANYON
So, at the time, I was probably fronting/passive influence without knowing it. As we played splatoon more, we learned about more of these things. As we learned more, I became more solid of an alter.
Many of our alters formed this way! Due to extensive trauma, we have a surplus of fragments. Majority of our introjects formed this way.
okay thanks 4 reading!! *ba dum tss*
