Huh.

I always thought Cloud is anti-social because of all the mountain of trauma that piled up on him but I am reading Traces of Two Pasts and apparently... that's just his personality?

He was like that since he was a kid.

It breaks my heart to think that Zack was just so aggressively friendly and hyperactively cheerful that he broke through to him. Cloud didn't make any friends and then Zack comes along "You're from a small village? I'm from a small village. Best friends forever!"

And there's no stopping Zack. He invites Cloud out for dinner. While. Cloud. Is. Barfing. He made him elbow bump! He even figured out why Cloud is hiding under his helmet and told him Tifa is alright. He made him open up about wanting to be a SOLDIER within 5 minutes they met, something Cloud didn't even tell his mom.

I'm just internally screaming how close poor Cloud was to being pulled out of his shell. Zack would have done it. I bet Zack would have even convinced him to tell Tifa he was there. Instead it turned into one of the most traumatic experiences for Cloud (and us) and made him pull inward even more.

Where was I going with this? I had a point.

Right. I guess I just wanted to say I was surprised he had pretty much the same quiet friendless personality when he was a child before all of *motions to endless Compilation of Final Fantasy VII trauma* happened. And that he was so close to being happy.

More of my recently repainted, and modified DIM Minimee Crisis Core Sephiroth custom head sculpt. I took these with my newest phone, that takes crappier photos. They were all taken at the same time, but all are pretty much the same exact angle, as his wig wasn't cooperating and his eyes leave huge gaps if not positioned just right. It's hot like the dickens here, so I didn't want the extra struggle. I just took a few quick shots with this cell as well. The body is floppy, needs new elastic, so it was a real struggle. Most of these are carbon copies of each other. Not like, I usually don't take repetitive photos anyway. DX

I am particularly happy with these, regardless, because they don't have harsh shadows. The other phone exaggerates lighting/shadows for some reason. This one takes blurry, pixelated, off focus photos that are most of the time washed out and glowy in a weird way. I don't know if the lens is damaged (I am a klutz, but I haven't dropped or accidentally scratched any of my phones as of yet). Weird, but what can I do? I suck at taking photos already. I adjusted the curves in the first one to not look so washed out. It is a slightly different angle than the last one. But that yellowy-ness...sigh

I seriously need to fix his wig, it's driving me nuts. The bangs in particular, I don't know how they got so messy. The fiber is awful, I feel I mentioned that it is the same as my CL Rou's fiber. It tangles like nobodies' business, just because. It is staticky and is stiff. I used a fabric sheet with fabric softener, because I heard that would remove static from synthetic fiber wigs. It worked a bit, and kind of left it feeling semi-soft, for a tiny bit. T___T;;;

I might have to wash it with actual fabric softener, for real, and that's going to destroy the freaking bangs. Which took me an eternity to get to where they are. They are not even as tall as they need to be, considering how tall my Rou's are (and how tall CC Sephy's are!). Taking into consideration, Rou is less than half this dude's size. DX

End of rant! I loathe summer weather; in case I've never mentioned that anywhere. I am winter-fall, old fart. I don't mind shoveling ten feet of snow daily, as long as it's not 80 degrees anywhere near me.
