I got 2nd at my debate tournament

First time making elims in varsity and it felt amazing!

Yes it meant not having time to eat, an in round mental break down, a permanent head ache (that i still have), and debating for 25 hours of my weekend. I am proud that I got that far and and that I beat a team that my school's entire debate team never beats.

Also we qualified for state and we won by being reasonable and logical not by using cheap tactics like out spreading teams or running ridiculous ks.

Sadly instead of a trophy they gave out debate camp scholarships which I have always wanted to go to, but since I'm a senior I can't now.

That awkward moment when it fully hits you that you have a tournament in a day and a half and the terror sets in.
