so i consider dn2 bir+ and oz+ my main trio because i started them all at the same time (even though i ignore oz+ when nothings going on like now - and even then i dont really pay attention) so better add it to the au

dorothy getting a small apartment right off campus so she can keep her dogs toto and toto jr - with help from her aunt and uncle - and shes been living there most of the summer waiting for her first semester to start and she has the loudest neighbors in history
one day she gets annoyed and goes over to give them a piece of her mind and finds three guys she knew when she was younger - two leonardo and crowlie are on the floor wrestling over the remote while the other one heartmann politely answers the door - and they are immediately all over her like “omg its you!” “youre still so cute” and stuff but she starts telling them to keep it down while saying theyll hang out later (the guys get really excited and unintentionally start making more noise so she comes back to school their asses)
theres an occasional explosion from the room on her other side and she meets oz (he denies any relation to the movie) an aspiring inventor who agrees to keep the explosions to a minimum and gives off a womanizer vibe (leonardo crowlie and heartmann are all peaking out their door for this exchange and are like “him that guy is going to get it if he hurts her” “if he even touches her” *low growling*)
classes start up and she meets - but she feels that shes meet them before - the infamous compass cousins (best i can think of give me a break theyre all directions) that are all actually really distantly related but not distant enough to not know of each others existence
she thinks solomon is pretty cool but is a little unnerved by norton practically following him everywhere when he can and his smile seems fake - shes not sure how to feel about wesley like everyone her neighbors has shown negativity when talking about him but she thinks hed be cool to hang out with once she got to know him but she is most confused by earnest who may of may not have suffered memory loss when he was younger for some reason (rumor has it someone tried to crush him to death - some think he actually died and is either a zombie or a ghost) and seems really quiet and sweet but theres just something off about him like hes the human version of a sickly sweet smell
