Ceiling Scuteler (enemy idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want an enemy to surprise the party from the ceiling.

The ceiling scuttler is a type of crustacean that climbs about the ceiling, in search of food. They are known for eating small bugs found on the ceiling for sustenance. That being said, they usually come into conflict with adventures, due to them think ears/tongues are bugs & attempting to pull them out to eat it. They are physically weak compared to most other creatures, but due to there shell, they have a high amount of AC.

Attribute: 

-Strong grasp: All “clasp” attacks that hold onto the enemy, will give a disadvantage to anyone who tries to remove the enemy

-wall crawler: movement speed is unaffected by walls or ceilings.

Attack:

Clasp: | To Hit +1| 1d6 +1 [if it hits, the creature can stay on the enemy & deal 1d4+1 per turn]

Bite: | To hit +1| 1d8 +1
