Crutchie!

He still likes to be feminine sometimes. He doesn't mind wearing dresses at some occasions but usually prefers to wear more masculine clothes

He's a fashion expert. Like with all the life hacks to look more like a boy.

Crutchie has his favourite honey drink that he makes when he's on his period. It's very sweet and warm and always makes him feel better. He also makes it for Race obeviously and then they watch crappy sitcoms.

He's also an expert on all sorts of hacks to handle periods and loves to help the other trans newsies when they're hurting.

And to fight transphobes for the other newsies. He'd definetly beat someone up if they were bigoted

Race loves those memes about being trans yk the ones. He always sands them to Crutchie to make him feel better. He also sends them to the newsies gc.

Race overuses his binder sometimes (I mean like wears it for too long like 7 hours instead of 6 nothing extreme) and always feels like he's going to die after that

So when Race does wear his binder for too long Crutchie makes him lie in bed and wraps him in a blanket and they just wait till the pain goes away usually watching movies. That happens in the evenings I mean

They always give each other side eye when someone says something bigoted right before race starts to tease the person with his witty remarks.

Crutchie always carries pain killers for himself and Race when they're on their periods and race has some mint gum for when Crutchie feels neasous (he's a huge gum addict. And idk chewing gum always helps me feel better so I guess-)

And Race lands Crutchie his oversized shirts because he has many.

Also this is very random but Race listens to Will Wood and got Crutchie into his calmer music. They not Becoming Lastnames trust (and That's enough let's get you home) give it a listen my friend is a huge WW fan

- They went back and fourth with themselves trying to figure out if they should, tell the other one. (it was 1899- so you KNOW that it was even worse.)

- Going further on that: here’s a conversation that Crutchie and Jack had about this matter.

“But what if he doesn’t like me back?”

“It would be pretty stupid if he didn’t. Either that, or I apparently can’t read people at all. Because whatever has been going on with you two, has not been platonic.”

“Oh, shut up. I know that he doesn’t. I’m not gonna tell him.”

“Crutchie, I swear to god, if you don’t tell him I’m gonna throw myself off of a building.”

“You wont do that and we both know that.”

“Well, maybe, maybe not. But what I will do, is tell him that you like him myself.”

“You wouldn’t dare.”

“Oh yes I would.”

- And with that, Jack ran to go tell Race. (Jack even asked Race before hand, he blabbed and said that he liked him back.

-Whenever Crutchie’s pain gets too bad, (from his leg, to specify,) Race stays behind at the lodging house with him to make sure he can be there if he needs someone.

-Crutchie does the exact same thing. While Race may not have lots of constant physical pain, he has his days where he cant even bring himself to speak. Crutchie will sit with him.

-Again, going off of that, they’ve made their own little system to communicate non-verbally when Race cant bring himself to speak.

-Crutchie and Race are both major theatre kids. Crutchie mainly does tech, and Race mainly acts, but they sometimes decide to dabble in what the other one mainly does every once in a while.
