Cryptid Eclipse takes his little hunter, now cursed to be a vampire, to pumpkin patches after hours when all the little children have gone home and no adult is around to pull the tractor with the haybales or sell popcorn or cotton candy. They encourage their sweet heart to pick their favorite gourd—one with warts, one that's pale as the moon, or one that's bright red—to fight the gloom clinging to their darling undead's edges.

Gently, they guide their little hunter through haunted houses the kids can walk through and a large sandbox full of corn kernels that are spilled everywhere on the ground, and they tell their little hunter it's alright. They can enjoy this still. Their sweet heart loves Halloween and spooky bats hanging along banners and scary faces painted onto silos—but they'll avoid the corn maze for now.

Go on. Have fun.

And their little hunter will struggle when they catch the stray sense of drying blood on an old bandage left discarded on the lid of a trashcan. They'll weep and their shoulders will shake but no tears will fall out of their blood-red eyes. The little hunter now vampire will long for the people that should be here, laughing, and watching children toss corn kernels at each other, and they'll wish it wasn't so dark anymore.

Cryptid Eclipse will stop and hold them among the pumpkin patch. They'll whisper and gently nuzzle their pale and ashen face until their little hunter remembers that they are still good. They can protect all the people who were here from the monsters stalking through the tall corn and lurking along the skirts of forests, and they will see that despite their thirst and their inhuman complexion, they are still their little hunter.

Their sweet heart looks up at them, hiding their fangs behind their lips, and nods. They point to an orange pumpkin with green warts all over its skin. Cryptid Eclipse gladly helps them carve a little jack-o-lantern face. They set it on a little picnic table where little children can see, and the demonic cryptid and the vampire retreat back to the safety of the airstream trailer before the sun rises.

Their little hunter sees.

Post fire au y/n meets Cryptid Hunter y/n because it would literally be the most perfect crossover ever. I can't get enough of y/nverse

Copper is a caretaker with kids. Struggling. Protective energy rn. Mechanic. Traumatized. They are practically already besties with cryptid eclipse and hunter. Eclipse is a cryptid caretaker who adores children to the point he'll kill rulebreakers who hurt them. Hunter is traumatized and has lots of hero complex stuff going on which honestly I think Copper would relate to the hero complex stuff a lot.

TLDR: They'd get along.

Or at least have fun interactions along the way.

If they met after Hunter knew that Cryptid Eclipse was a cryptid all along, they wouldn't be worrying about how destroyed their sweetie's animatronic vessel are when they visit.

So. Cryptid Sun and Moon go after rulebreakers who harm children n stuff. Post fire sun and moon. Have blood covered hands.

The moment they realize. They better book it before Copper's boo is torn to shreds

Meanwhile Cryptid Moon is just having fun with the kids because you know they'd get along

Explosion noises in their minds rn this is so cool they are literally meeting a cryptid woah

Maes is a little more nervous but since Cryptid Moon isn't acting scary right now it's okay

Since post fire au Sun and Moon still got some virus issues in the beginning, their status was debatable. The more time Cryptid Eclipse spends around them, the more they recognize they're gulity lol

Cryptid Eclipse may be the kids new uncle but he's not allowed to beat up their favorite dads.

Also, Hunter would think Post Fire Sun and Moon are so cool since they are actual animatronics with advanced ai like WOAH

ALSO I didn't get around to drawing it since my eyes hurt like heck rn BUT with the amount of love both y/ns get from their boys, they'd relate to each other in that way as well

Most of it is copy pasted from the wip post, but I also have some ✨️ design notes ✨️ for some of my designs of each of @naffeclipse's boys! And my version of yn/reader lol. There is also some new additions to the design notes lol

yn/reader: so there are some hats that have a little veil attached to them called mosquito hats (learned this after searching sun hats once) and I figured that'd probably be something we'd wear out in the jungle!

SJ eclipse/Vinicius: remember how when sj eclipse dies, one of his optics are very damaged? I decided to make that a part of my version of vinicius's design by giving him a scar on his left eye >:]

SJ moon/Meztli: attached to his hood is an appendage on the back of his head, similar to a tail, and at the end of it there is something like a rattlesnakes rattle!

CS Eclipse/Tlhoolcha: Hes got two hoods! One of them is bigger and almost always hanging, and he often uses it to cover his face, especially when its dark and when hes guiding us back to safety so you dont see what he looks like and what he is (I headcanon that we do know he is a naga, we just dont want to spoil it for him). He is also a big sweetie (at least compared to the others not including meztli and helio) and he calls us heart, so I decided to give him a heart on his chest <3

SID Eclipse Sun and Moon/Saulo Inacio and Luan: Saulo doesnt have many scars as I headcanon that he doesnt get into fights that often, but! What happened to his hood, why is a whole chink of it ripped off? Oh well, same reason why Inacio is missing a chunk of his, and why Luan once had two of what Meztli has but doesnt have either! They got into a (un)friendly little fight UwU. Also I have no regrets towards making inacio and luan goth. Yes it was accidental no there were no regrets

DE Eclipse/Jacare: so um (stares at the more detail I put into him) its uh totes clear that hes my least favorite, yeah? Yeah? Hey wait guys no where are you going I have actual design notes for him I swear- So I feel like he'd be very eager to show off certain things hes gained from his hunts, so I decided that man wears jewelry made of bones of his kills, most of them being from tougher, bigger, and/or more sentient creatures. And he wears one very sharp one of his tail with a ribbon wrapped around the base of it and his tail to keep it on lol. Also I suddenly decided that I like the way he looks with his face and under belly and such being white so uh yeah.

I made so many mistakes, like at least one with every one of them god damn it gahh 😭
