I want more Batsibs dynamics so bad.

I want Jason and Tim to be squabbling and fighting over the damn remote despite there probably being like 10 other tvs in the manor. I want Dick to come in and immediately join the bickering and fight for the remote. I want Duke to sweep in while they're distracted and take over the tv like the King he is.

I want Damian and Tim arguing ferociously over something stupid, getting heated to the point Bruce is getting concerned- only for one of them to stop and ask if the other wants to go to Dairy queen or something for a snack.

I want Bruce watching his children with confusion since he doesn't understand siblings dynamics.

I want them racing to the batmobile screaming for shotgun and Dick almost always cheating to get it since he's the oldest.

I want Cass to scare the shit out of all her siblings and laugh at them. I want Cass to do ridiculous shit that no one will believe just to torment her siblings.

I want Duke flashbanging everyone just to win an argument or get them all to shut up.

I want them stumbling into each other after patrol, dragging by Duke who just woke up and is feeling great.

I want them dragging Duke into the post-patrol passing out on the closest bed nap.

I want Duke and Dick arguing. I want them hurting insults at each other the way only siblings can with Duke telling Dick "at least i dodn't become a cop-" to which all the other siblings pop in with a chorus of "Ohhhh!" And various other burn remarks.

I just want them to have the complex but loving sibling relationships with its up and downs and stupid moments. I want them mimicking each other and racing down hallways and stairways. I want someone running into a door just for the person laughing to trip and eat shit.

I want them antagonizing each other but dropping everything the moment one of them is hurt.

I want Duke and Jason to team up against the others for some dumb shit and shit talk mad shit about the others. I want everyone arguing over who gets to have Duke help them the rare time he has to help them for missions at night or something.

I want Damian and Jason to specifically talk all about Talia the most around Dick just to watch his veins pop and his anger rise.

I want Cass to be loud and have fun. I want her to laugh and wrestle with her siblings and beat their ass in video games and board games. I want her to win at every hide and seek game and gloat it forever.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I WANT MORE DUKE AND CASS BATSIB INTERACTIONS. PLEASE.

I don't know enough about them but I love them so fucking dearly.

Finally coming back to writing... starting with finishing a one-shot trying to flesh out Jason and Tim. Never written Tim before so i'm trying my best lol

Sneak Peak

Tim worries at his bottom lip as he finally turns away from Jason, gaze sweeping over the docks once more as he thinks over his brother’s words.

Jason keeps his eyes on him, afraid that if he turns away for even a second his brother will slip between his fingers and disappear.

It’s another several minutes before TIm finally speaks up, his voice hushed and his gaze tracing over each and every shipping container like he’s trying to keep himself focused.

“I was at yours. And I… I visited your grave sometimes.”

Those words, so simple and so profound, has the decaying concrete beneath Jason cracking open and he feels like he’s suddenly free falling with the way his heart has lodged in his throat.

He suddenly can’t breathe, feeling like he was in his own coffin once again with how tight his chest was and the ringing in his ears.

“You were Robin… you were magic.” Tim continues as if he hadn’t just upheaved Jason’s whole world, as if he hadn’t just shattered everything he thought he knew.

Sneak-peak of the fic I'm writing!

-Honestly? He had never really listened to the half-crazed ramblings from the boy back then, especially not while his mind had still been healing from the pit and from being comatose for so long. And after being, well, dead.

Damian had always ended up tuning out the crazed ramblings for revenge, the crazed ramblings about a clown and a new bird who had taken his name from the grave. The angry ramblings about Batman and Bruce and how he had betrayed him.

He knew the story of his death, of course. Knew most of his Baba’s plans for revenge too, though he truly feels deep in his bones that Jason’s plans have gotten worse since then, but  there were only so many times you can hear the same damned ramblings from a mad man before you learn to compartmentalize and tune him out.

As Damian tosses in the bed once more, feeling cold and lost and so utterly alone…

He can’t help but yearn to hear those inane rambles again.

He couldn’t help but yearn to just hear his voice once more, to just have it wash over him with that Crime Alley drawl he’d never quite gotten rid of, even while in the League. To hear the deep, gruff voice crack as he tried to do ridiculous voices as he read stories to him. How his voice was always too high or too low trying to mimic Talia and Bruce during his trants.

He just… He just really missed Jason, okay?-

Thinking about how me and my sibling @crypticspade got a little fed up with DC pulling bullshit and decided to rewrite and redesign the characters ourselves.

Not super seriously of course but just- more whimsy. More color. More silliness. Just for shits and giggles. Taking our own spin on the story and completely revamping it just ti see what we can do.

Of course, for me and my sibling that means indulging in the whimsical aspect that could truly be for Joker and Harley Quinn.

Like making Joker a giant walking talking 90's/super early 2000's nostalgia gag. And making Harley Quinn realize 'damn this guy's kind of a loser fr' earlier on and just taking over his operation entirely. Girl boss, gaslight, gate keep type thing. Why? I don't know. We thought it'd be fun to kind of miz around their personalities and go 'what if?'.

Now, of course... this isn't serious, not really. It's more of something to make us laugh and joke with and just have fun with how we can twist the personalities of characters and see how they'd react on dumb ass situations.

Ft. Joker Junior of course but in a completely different way- i.e slipping and hitting his fucking head during his little stalking and taking photos routine and getting temporary amnesia, and Joker and Harley stumbling across the kid.

Ft bop it's as bombs. Furbies probably also as bombs. Giant slap bracelets used to restrain people. Slappy hands. Joker accidentally killing Jason Todd and freaking out. Ft Trans!fem Catwoman (I said it was indulgent. It's so indulgent) and Harvey Dent taking a newly revived Jason Todd in and adopting him. Ft Harvery Dent and Oswald Cobblepot being a thing (yes, we landed on Two-Face and Penguin being a thing. Why? No idea but I love it) who affectionately call Jason their little toucan (bird nicknames are so fun.) Ft. Tim blackmailing his way into being Robin and still playing as Joker Junior every now and then. Ft Tim and Jason meeting at a villain's brunch and doing that one Spiderman pointing meme like ?! Ft just stupid whimsical ideas that are made more for dumbass reasons that any actual serious rewriting. Also Ft Damian running away to visit Jasin after a month of being bored at the manor and Bruce being like??? Do I have another kid? Ft Dick Grayson being tired and done with everything.

We haven't gotten super far in planning anything out and no idea if this will just stay as like just a silly idea or if one day we'll flesh it out more on the side just for fun.

I haven't finished any designs completely but have this 2nd draft of Joker's outfit. (I'm changing a lot of it and some of the colors around, but this is the gist of it.)

Lso fun fact we're putting this bitch in Italian leather shoes that transform into heelies. I just wanna watch this dumbass heelie away.

So Carry Me From These Walls, Brother of Mine

//Damian is not a child anymore, or at least, his training does not allow him to be a child anymore, despite only being 9 years old.

But during high-stress moments or when fear truly sinks in, he can't help but slip into old habits of his younger years and call out for his Baba to come and comfort him. He can't help but call out for the young man who had raised him like he was his own while they were in the League despite having been just a teen himself.

Jason swears he has no attachments anymore. He swears he only cares about getting his revenge and about his plans to get back at Bruce for letting that clown live and replacing him after his death.

And yet, every time his habibi is in trouble or in distress, he can't help but drop everything and come running, no matter what.

Even if it keeps setting his plans back more and more, to the point they just crumble to ash.

Because nothing is more important than the young boy that somehow became his anchor in this fucked up life.//

Finally finished the fic i was supposed to in like, February, oops. Life hit hard so I had to step back and deal with some things, but I'm trying to get back into it. I'll be posting another fic as soon as I can, but also probably some one-shots as I try to hash out how to write these characters in a way i like and feels like them!
