Coming home from school in the fall, and my grandma is gently stirring a pot on the stove, and it’s that fucking delicious Abuelita hot chocolate, but she’s made it her own special way, and the leaves are on the ground, and I get that hot cup in my hand, and that chocolatey warm cinnamon-y smell....
