Demonetization - Experience of a Common Man

Good day everyone, so here I am wanted to summarize impact of Demonetization on common people like us. I am not going to talk about the history of what has happened in the past and those crazy facts and figures which a common does not understand nor is bothered about.

What I am going to talk about is what is Demonetization has done to us and what we hope in return of it.

8-November-2016 – India will remember this day

I was sitting at home and all of sudden I got a call at around 10:30 PM from one of my society members about Demonetization. His first question was have you deposited the 50K of the society and luckily I had done it. He was happy

I actually was not shocked much as I usually don’t have much cash neither I have any black moneyJ. The trouble started next day when all ATM’s were off and even banks.  I was having 700/- Rs luckily which helped a lot.

  Demonetization – Suffering but is it worth it?

Next 2-3 weeks has actually caused a lot of pain to everyone. Someone says only poor and middle man are suffering but I would like to highlight here something. Trust me, I come from a small place where loads of business men are there filthy rich, they are suffering more from Demonetization. You don’t see them in bank because they are either in hospital or they cannot do anything now.

I do agree that common people are suffering but take a simple example. If any tough situation comes on you, you fight through it right? You don’t give up.  Why, because something is hurting you and you try to fight it. Now when our Prime minister has taken this step for OUR COUNTRY we have started cribbing. All I think why we are cribbing is because we don’t consider India as ours. India is our mother and it is our honest duty towards it. People who are giving you facts and figures etc. just ask them what else can be done. Nothing! They just know how to crib period.

Alternatives being followed by people with black money

I have heard construction companies are giving money to labor to deposit in own account and give us 20% less any time when you feel

6 Month advance salary

Businessman generally have less cash as compared to in cash books so good opportunity for them

Petrol pump people are having gala time. They are actually making money with both hands.

Pay us 1000 and we will give petrol/diesel of 900

We will only accept legal tender no higher currency. So they can add their own 500-100 Rs notes

Initially when cash exchange was allowed each labor worker was given 4500 Rs/- to exchange and they can keep 500/- in return. That is why you saw so much rush. A normal labor worker earns only 200-300 Rs/ after working whole day. Now all he needs to do is stand in line for whole day.

Now let’s look at simple benefits with no economics

Funding of all terrorist organization impacted severely, you can see J&K has less trouble brewing from inside.

20-30% of black money will come into system rest don’t worry our Prime Minister will find its own ways.

A fear in future for keeping so much cash at home, so more cash into the system

Most of the people have parked money in Properties. I have seen Economically Weaker Section Society Flats being sold for Millions of Rupees. Can you imagine? How come they are then EWS? Benami Properties next

Stop Reservation, Reservation shall be based on actually economic status. For example An IAS officer who got select via reservation quota earns pretty handsome. His son shall actually be consider as part of General only but still he enjoy this reservation benefits. I will write a blog with examples I myself have faced!

Strict Traffic rules and Punishment. For example if driving without helmet will have fine of 10000/- Rs I can bet you will see the difference

More Hospitals and Doctors

Honest Government Servant.

  Our Prime Minister has actually gone beyond all of the cheap things and taken steps which no other Prime Minister has done till now. It is the time we shall rise and support him.

Kudos to you sir, I pledge here to support you for whatever decision you will take, why because I trust you and have faith in you. Keep going don’t stop.
