A quote from one of my customers today after I rang her up. 

“Damn, plants are expensive!” she then looks at her friend and says “Well Tina, it’s cheaper than my coke addiction at least; not by much but cheaper is cheaper.” 

I have never looked at a customer so shocked in my life before. My emotions went a little like 😳🤭🙃😲👁👄👁

I told my manager about it during my lunch break and she said “I hope she was talking about the drink!” and I had to break it to her that I doubt she was talking about the drink when she had an $80 order.
