A lot of characters on this blog (and others) are ace and/or aro.

So I've linked on the Pinned to a document I've been working on that includes plenty of useful links to References/Resources that better explain why and how ace and aro people have close and intimate relationships all the time.

The misunderstanding that ace people are broken and that aro people are emotionless and therefor their fictional counterparts would only have a limited number of kinds of interactions isn't going to get better if misinformation remains where it is.

And part of the issue is that we don't see queerplatonic relationships centered in media. When's the last time you've seen two people be one another's most important people and it NOT be about sex and romance? Life erases an important friend from someone's life. Believe me, it's a thing.

I'll be reblogging the pinned posts momentarily. The Muses with * next to their names are the ones who are on the ace and/or aro spectrum.

I've been on tumblr rpc for 13+ yrs. And I've noticed that ace and aro muses are avoided more than their allo counterparts. This is why I think it's a subconscious thing. The same muses will be interacted with until their ace/aro orientation is listed...
