The scene where Jax choked out Pomni was horrifying and triggering for me, it wasn't just scary, but kinda messed me up for a little while. I am a little sensitive towards strangling specifically, it triggers me a bit. The sound, the effects...EVERYTHING. It also wasn't slapstick, I'd say (just like with Ragatha in They All Get Guns). The whole 'holding your breath' quirk was gone. Pomni's face didn't change funky colors again, nor did she make any funny faces. SHE WAS IN PAIN, OFC. And her face turned such a disturbing grey-blue-purple (which makes me think that Jax didn't wanna just hurt her with slapstick in his fantasy like he wanted to with Zooble, for example). I hope I'm not just being a snowflake but yeah just wanted to rant a bit

How does Alec feel about breathplay?

Okay so this is another interesting thing with Vienna as a more "permanent" victim. I would say this is something he probably would have enjoyed with previous victims but he a) really doesn't want to do anything that would require her to require actual medical care (bc that ain't happening) and b) gets to know her personality and realizes having her as conscious as possible is what he really wants. So this won't necessarily come up a lot. However there is definitely a canon scene later on where this is used but less as "playing" and more as like. a very brutal punishment for something

i think mikoto probably assumes that whoever the person who is ruining his life is must just be the worst. violent n senselessly cruel and hates him specifically n all that.

so . behold Ore, as he’s been dubbed 👍 . some kinda dream manifestation of Mikoto’s fears of whoever is ruining his life + his own self doubts + his sleepwalking concerns n all that. there’s some of John’s fears in there too also.
