I just rewatched DS9 S5 E25 "In The Cards" and you CANNOT convince me that Nog doesn't have a little crush on Jake. This boy was really willing to give all of his money away, and then follow Jake around the entire station doing a bunch of extra work and getting into trouble just so that Jake could do something nice (but ultimately not that important) for his dad.

Oh and the "kismet" "kiss you?" scene is INSANE... I need to talk to whoever wrote this and ask them what they were thinking. How on earth do you mishear kismet as "kiss me" ? Aren't Ferengi supposed to have really good hearing? Nog was just shooting his shot...

On a side note, Kai Winn was actually tolerable in this episode and Weyoun's interest in the crazy scientist was low-key wholesome. This episode feels like the best fluff fanfic ever.

lowkey one reason why i refuse to accept benjamin never returning to his family (other than because it makes me SO sad) is because the idea of kasidy continuing to have a relationship with a literal incorporeal god is very compelling to me. what’s more romantic than being visited in your dreams by your god husband and having crazy dream sex. or maybe she’s just doing something around the house and suddenly she feels him with her even if she can’t see him… so many possibilities
