‘Come on Nari! We don’t want to be late.’ You tell the four year old girl that stopped walking because she saw a butterfly. But she doesn’t move, she’s still looking at the butterfly that getting further and further away. ‘Come girl, we need to go.’ You tell her as you pick her up and put her on your hip.
‘but the butterfly.’ She says with sadness in her voice. You can feel the tears coming as her breath hitches. To comfort her you tell her she will see Jongin again, but that they need to be on time for that to happen. You also tell her you will see another butterfly eventually, you even promise to go to the zoo to see a butterfly, when you have the time. While you are calming her down, you make your way to the SM headquarters. When you arrived Nari forgot all about the butterfly, probably because she recognized the building as a place where she can meet Jongin. As you enter the building you make your way to the service desk. Knowing you need to get Nari a day-card.
‘Hello, I would like to get a day-card for her. Is this possible?’ you ask the lady behind the desk as you refer to Nari and hand over Nari’s identification and your own guest-card. After checking a few things on the computer the lady tells you it isn’t possible for her to give Nari a day-card. This is because you have a guest-card. Only people with a actually company-card can choose who gets a day/guest-card. ‘Okay thank you for trying. I will be back in a few minutes.’ you answer the lady and walk to the waiting area together with Nari. When the two of you sit down you grab your phone and dial Jongin’s number.
‘Hello’ you greet Jongin through the phone.
‘Hello baby, I missed you. How are you?’ He answers the phone.
‘I’m fine, missed you too. Just having a minor problem downstairs. We need someone with a company-card to give Nari a day-card. So could you please come down? I’m sorry if we interrupted dance practice.’ You say hesitating to even ask him to come downstairs, because the debut of the new group is getting closer and everything is getting busier.
‘Yes no problem, I forgot about that. See you two in a bit.’ He answers and you nod. A few seconds later realizing he can’t see you, you answer. Letting him know that it is okay and that the two of you don’t mind waiting. In the meantime Nari started walking around, that is until you hear a scream and then wailing. Suddenly your head turns around and you see Nari sitting on the ground. In front of her is a man you don’t recognize. In no time you reach her and put her back on your hip. Caressing her back.
‘I’m sorry, I didn’t see her. Is she okay? Is there something I can do?’ the man asks me worried.
‘No problem, that can happen. She will be fine.’ You answer and a few seconds later you hear her giggling again. ‘See, she already forgot about it.’ You try to reassure the man that everything is okay. But you can see he is still worried. ‘you know what, if you feel this bad about it. You can give me your number and I can text you if she is still hurt after a while. Then you can treat us on ice cream, later.’ You suggest. That is when you feel an arm around you shoulder.
‘So I see you are flirting with a member, y/n?’ You hear Jongin say. You can practically feel him smirking. But then you process his words, a member? But this isn’t one of exo’s members. ‘He is one of the boys from the new group. Taemin, this is y/n, my girlfriend. Y/n this is Taemin, a member of the new group, SuperM.’ Jongin answers the question you had, but didn’t even say. ‘Taemin, I’m getting her a day-card. See you upstairs in a bit.’ He says and refers to Nari, who is now making grabbing motions towards Jongin. Taemin answers and makes his way upstairs towards the practice room. While the three of you walk towards the service desk, he places a kiss on top of your head. His arm also still around you. ‘Good to see you two.’ He says and you smile from ear to ear.
