He’s a motha-fuckin’-t-rex!
Been catching up on Role With Me/The Ties That Bind and in the second to most recent game, T-Wig the Warforged Druid turned Asmo, the Lizardfolk FIghter into a T-Rex. And then Daenir, the Tabaxi Wizard cast Enlarge on said snaky T-Rex. It was awesome. That platoon of Golliaths got wrecked.
Inktober days 13, 14 and 15: Fanart of the main cast in the Role With Me: “The Ties That Bind” D&D campaign: (DM: @Lanipator) Asmo (@Takahata101) Daenir Highwind (@Shadowdancerbob) Wolfgang Connolly (@SenileSnake) Each sketched in .5mm pencil, then inked with eye rollerball pens. “Chapter 2 Start”
So chapter 2 of Role With Me has begun and they already have a new party member 8D
Welcome to the party, T-Wig!
Did some more fan art of episode 21 of Role With Me. Two scenes in complete tonal differens with each other~
In the first, the boys, having now returned down South after their successful dyplomatic mission in the land of frost and undeath, were led to a chamber within the King’s castle and presented the siblings, Lady Tia, Lord Horaisch and King Bahoom with a Dragonslaying weapon, crafted by a mad God (from whom Asmo stole it as payback for the abuse he went through last time).
The sword’s handle was made from one of Lady Tia’s bones as she, and her brothers, are in fact Dragons, in a more human form. The sword has an effect to it, were it makes anyone of draconic lineage (so that includes the Dragonborn) feel anxious in it’s presence.
There was a lot of great roleplaying in this scene as the players and the DM weaved a scene that will surely have a lot of consequences to the story as it goes into it’s second arc.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnd on the other side of the scale, they met up with their old rival/ally/buddy, the Brass Dragonborn Garrik soon after exiting the castle grounds.
The party reconvened in “The Meat House”, a well established restaurant where Meat is always on the menu. Oh. And Asmo scored the party Horaisch’s table. So. Yeah. The boys ate well on that day, while catching up and leading into plot hooks for future campaign stuff. There was food, Merryment and grotesque displays of devouring a whole pig. Poor-poor Daenir.
“He-He-He...”
The boys fought a weird monster at the end of episode 18. In a very weird place. They got beat up quite a bit, but the ultimate highlight has to be Daenir going a bit dark with how he took him out. He uh. He used the gem.
Tale Of Two Kings
Boy, these boys had a weird 24 hours. In the span of that time they met both the Archmage and delivered the letter they were sent north to deliver.... AAAAnd were kidnapped and transported by drow to the hide out of said Archmage’s creator, the Man of Black and White.
I don’t envy these boys.
Here’s a Daenir, an elf.
He fights things.
