((timeline wise is for when she was captured))
Raindrops dripped down, the sky itself seemed to mourn the event transpiring below. Her form had roughly been torn apart, no. She wasn’t a fusion anymore. Jasper had to remember she was her own identity and not some…
A slight hitch in breath, only to straighten her back to stiffness when sharp eyes moved to her, wondering what had broken her stillness so abruptly. Her features smooth like a stone and not allowing any emotion to be read off it.
The perfect soldier.
Her thoughts kept running though and for those who looked deep enough in jaded eyes would see her thoughts. Jasper was sure to not meet anyone’s gaze though, staring straight in front of her and hands clasped behind her back.
It was strange to be back to this. It felt… insignificant. A feeling she never expected to experience and yet here she was, even if this body was so familiar to her. She knew every inch of tan and orange skin, every strand of white and yet it never felt as alien as it did that moment.
Her hands roughly seized they got bound together and there was a slight rattling hiss, but she didn’t protest, doing so would only turn out worse for her.
Rough hands pushed her forward and she allowed herself to be moved, more for their sake than her own. The ship was looming and foreboding and she swallowed once more. It seemed that she had gotten more human like treats to her name than she had expected. It would not serve her well and would be better off being quickly forgotten.
The trip back was boring, and she felt like pacing the entirety of her cell like a tiger would’ve done. She would have if not for the many eyes aimed on her. She still had to keep herself collected.
She closed her eyes, but it appeared only a few seconds had passed before hands once more seized her and pushed her out and into the familiar surface of Homeworld. She stared at it, detached and then looked as one of the Gems sneered at her, “welcome back, defective jasper.”
It could be worse, she supposed.
Not realizing that it indeed could get a lot worse for everyone, but especially for her.
