Introduction!

Hey, I just wanted to go ahead and give some quick explanations. This is long and I’m putting it in quite a few tags, so I’m putting a read more so you don’t just have a wall of text as you scroll.

   We are an OSDD system that also dabbles with soulbonding and tulpas, and I/we consider all of them to be a part of our system, even though they work slightly differently. Here is a quick explanation of what each of these words mean. 

-Alter: A system member or headmate in a disassociation disorder system, either DID or OSDD. Caused by trauma. (Fictive falls under this category, but it’s worth mentioning that I currently have no fictives.)

-Thoughtform: A being/creature/headmate created PURPOSEFULLY by the “host” through mental/spiritual discipline and concentration (ie, meditation and FOCUS).

-Soulbond: An externally originating headmate (ie not created subconsciously as a result of trauma OR consciously by the host) that is from a fictional source. Similar to fictives, but fictives come from trauma and act like alters. For me, a big difference is that soulbonds can come and go, and return to their “source” or “canon” whenever they wish, whereas fictives would be unable. (Sidenote, some of my soulbonds are “permanent residents” and either can not or will not return to their source, either by physical limitations or personal choice.)

This blog will be talking about my experience as a whole, or about alters and tulpas specifically. If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of us individually or as a group, and we’ll answer to the best of our abilities.

   I’ll be posting a description of the headspace, how my system works, and how my experiences differ from those of a DID individual as soon as I can. I will also be letting the others post short individual intros soon, so you can get to know each of them personally (or as personally as they allow, I suppose)

When a hurricane is going to puerto rico and everybody on facebook is making memes about it and im worried because puerto rico is not a very rich island cheeses crackers its bankrupt and i just have no words of how not many people care of how much damage this hurricane can cause.
