Viola explains the best she can and tells the phantom thief witch that she knows what it's like to lose a father.
Viola lost her father a few months ago with her wanting revenge and after his death she was looked after by her mother and her aunt showing a photo of the three of them.
This surprise the phantom witch the mother looking like [ secret but you already know]
The phantom witch thinks and then turns it around with a joke about viola clearly getting her sense of fashion from her aunt.
Which viola Offense to.
Viola felt a presence not far from here [dark eve] and tells the phantom witch that theirs a evil person named dark eve who been killing strong individuals for power to beat the homunculi.
This makes phantom witch worry for her mother and commands her demon to fly them their.
Bayo side
fighting dark eve was more difficult then before.
Not even the steal witch using her power of being a arch-eve was barely enough.
In the distance we see a demon with two people standing on top of it.
Viola side
Both witches flying on mictlantecuhtli looking around until viola points and says DARK EVE!!!.
The phantom witch looks down and see this dark eve viola speaks of and her mother struggling to fight.
The phantom witch commands them to fly them down.
Battle: witches vs dark eve
Both phantom witch and viola drop down next to steal witch and bayonetta
Bayonetta: good to see you can join the fight kitty
Viola: the name is viola!!!
Steal witch: focus don't let your guard down
All witches are in battle stance ready for a fight.
[After the battle looking to be in the witches favor rosa is killed and absorbed into dark eve]
Dark eve points her weapon at both bayonetta and the phantom witch tell them in a broken distorted voice that it won't Hurt.
This saddened bayonetta and the phantom witch cause both of them to glow and awaken to the power of being arch eves
The witches strength forces dark eve to use her demon masquerade.
After the second phase of the battle
Dark eve is a bit tired which causes her to lose hold on changing the universe's phenomena which allows singularity to come in.
Singularity talks about dark eve being nothing but a small pain at his side.
Bayonetta and viola notices the universe is starting to be absorbed.
While singularity is mocking everyone.
The phantom witch laugh telling does he not know who she is the Papillon d'Ombre the 2nd daughter to Papillon d'Ombre the 1st and i will continue to carry out ma maman and I life long mission.
The phantom witch body glows and covers the whole area causing a great reset to undo the universe's destruction.
Dark eve is forced out due to the great reset.
She turns around and looks at the two witches but mainly viola and gives her the chaos gear trusting them to set things right in the end.
Viola ask what will she do and the phantom witch says she will do what she can to finish her mother's mission
Bayonetta and viola are teleported back to thule.
Viola:We got what we need now we just need to find....

I kinda felt like Bayonetta was ready for some exploration of her selfishness, and how that might be damaging or harmful to the world around her. Maybe they could’ve explored that through Dark Eve? Who appeared a grand total of ONE TIME (plus one by proxy)? Imagine, a story that actually explores the main character in any way to any degree whatsoever...

And all evoking completely different feelings.
I think it’s also worth noting how in the first two gifs, the camera pans closer to Eve. She wants to keep her feelings inside close to her, not yet ready to cope with the full weight of her emotions and unable to face them head on. They are private. In the last scene, the camera pans out quickly. The feeling is immense. And continuing the trajectory of Eve’s arc this season, she is coming into her own, finally accepting what she is and what she feels, ready to unleash it to the world. Dark Eve Rising, baby!
