SUPER excited about this new commission!! Aldrich, Devourer of Gods, from Dark Souls III It was so fun to make something so different, I haven't sewn bones onto a costume since my War Rig, I think?? The skirt is crimson bridal satin I airbrushed black in patches all over. Black petticoat hoop underneath to give the skirt full ballgown volume. 50+ yards of black sheer fabrics (4 types!) around the skirt, & dem bones hidden inside! The top is fully boned, laces up the back for best fit, halter type closure for the top. The shawl is a black velveteen lace, gold metallic lace trim. The helm is very lightweight, thermoplastics & foam. Also a piece of sheer fabrics just to drape over the arms/behind the back. 5% of what Kingulus do at a con... 95% of the time is filled with silly stuff, waving to everyone, getting hugs from kids to granny, tons of photos and generally being a dork. Besides one detail (the cage/lantern on the belt), the costume side is done! Now for a prop and the lantern! The foam armour was made from @poly.props CF65 and CF100 foam and sealed with their SEAL Prime Brush On and Spray.
