Besides one detail (the cage/lantern on the belt), the costume side is done! Now for a prop and the lantern! The foam armour was made from @poly.props CF65 and CF100 foam and sealed with their SEAL Prime Brush On and Spray. The base colour is just the Matte Black SEAL as the armour is black anyway. sofinstagram From Instagram

All the pieces for the Gil armour are cut out (minus Ea, fingers, and detail work)! I've been pretty lazy while making this, so progress is slow. But I'm pretty happy with how the shape of my chest armour is so far. Ignore all the glue, that will be sanded off before I prime and paint. This foam is incredible to work with. It's so dense and takes to the contact glue fantastically. Plus is has no small holes or imperfections like what I'm used to working with.
