jyp initially announced this group as a five member band with the name 5live. in 2015, several months before their debut, dowoon was added to the band. they debuted with 6 members, dowoon being the only one that doesn’t sing, but soon became 5 again, which they have stayed until now. another thing to note is that they originally weren’t planned to be an idol band (?) but after junhyeok left, jyp decided for them to be like that, so they stopped street busking and started going on music shows.
