“Yeah what the Fuck, of all of us he was supposed to live forever”

Jason laughed as he glanced over at this best friend. Roy was leaning forward a bottle of bourbon in his hand as he looked over the grand Gotham property from their perch on top of the mansion. When they had gotten the call about the Boy Wonder’s death both boys had raced back here only to stand awkwardly around while everyone tried to make sense of it.

To be fair Roy’s comment on Dick’s immortality seemed to be the consensus with everyone.

But apparently everyone was wrong.

“That jerk, he owed me $20 from our bet.”

“I thought you lost that bet…”

“Fuck your right, maybe it’s better he’s dead.”

Roy chuckled taking another swig of his drink, “Who does he think he is leaving us like this?”

“Yeah so selfish”

“Loser, he always thought about himself didn’t he always had to be the center of attention.”

“Yeah. What a show-off”

“We should go piss on his grave or something.”

Jason laughed tossing another bottle from his pack that he had been working through. It crashed against a tree showing glass across the lawn. Alfred was going to be so pissed.

“Well, I do need to take a leak.”

Roy was already halfway down the mansion toward the Wayne cemetery, bottle in hand.

“What the hell are they doing?” Dick Grayson said from his perch on the hill that overlooked his grave. It wasn’t every day you got to watch your own funeral. To be honest he wasn’t really enjoying it, having to lie to everyone that he died. But Bruce was right, it had to be done.

“FUCK YOU GRAYSON!” Jason screamed fist in the air as the Red-haired archer next to him unzipped his pants.

“Well it’s good to see that everyone is handling this in a mature manner” Dick mumbled trying to fight back a smile.

Can you write something about reader slowly falling asleep on Dick's lap, while he runs his fingers through her hair?

We’ve finally reached the 200th mark! Yay!! This calls for a celebration! What should I do? Do you have any ideas or scenes you want to see written? Anyways, hope you like this! Thank you for requesting!

Youstretched your body, stifling a yawn as you trudged to where your boyfriend issitting on the bed. All you want to do right now is just curl up against himand go to sleep but the two of you rarely have that much free time to spendtogether lately so you tried to hang on to every little time you can get withhim.

“Babe,come here; you look dead on your feet.” Dick called out, snapping you out ofyour train of thoughts. You mumbled an incoherent response and walked over tothe bed, flopping on your side of the bed. Dick laughed at you before pullingyou to him. You laid your head on his lap and stretched on the bed. “You shouldsleep.” He told you while running his fingers through your hair. The feeling ofhis fingers running through your hair, lightly scratching your scalp soothedyou in a way and you relaxed on the bed, a smile on your face.

“Idon’t want to.” You protested but then you yawned. Dick chuckled and shook hishead. “I miss you.” You said to him when you finished yawning.

Dicknodded his head. “I miss you too.” He leaned down to press a kiss on yourforehead and you smiled at him.

“Youmissed.” You pointed at your lips and he chuckled once more before pressing hislips against yours briefly.

Yousmiled before getting comfortable on the bed. Dick’s thigh felt a little morecomfortable than your pillow and really, the last thing you remembered afterthat was Dick’s gentle touch as he continued to run his fingers through yourhair.

EXTENDED:

Youreyelids felt heavy when you finally blinked them open and you had to take amoment to remember where you were and what you had done before. You frowned andlifted your head up from your boyfriend’s lap. “I didn’t mean to fall asleep…”You tell him when you notice that Dick is still wide awake and watching you.You scolded yourself mentally for falling asleep immediately.

“Youwere tired, babe.” Dick brushed your hair out of your face and smiled at you.

“Still,I wanted to spend some more time with you.” You mumbled before sitting upslowly, trying to not get a head rush. You stretched your arms and yawnedloudly as you tried to figure out how long you had been asleep. The sun hadbeen up when you got back to your house and it probably was still up by thetime you fell asleep.

“It’salmost time for Supper.” Dick told you and you thanked him before pushing awaythe blanket. You didn’t remember putting it on you so Dick must have done so. “I’mgoing to get some water…” You kissed Dick’s cheek before getting off the bed.

Youcould feel Dick’s eyes following you like that of a lost puppy and heimmediately scrambled off the bed to chase after you. “I can get take-outs; youdon’t have to cook anything. How does Chinese sound for dinner?” He trailedafter you and you smiled at him, nodding your head.

Dickwhipped out his phone and out of habit, you leaned against him, watching himunlock his phone. Your eyes widen when you caught sight of his new home screenphoto; it was a photo of you, sleeping soundly on his lap. “You took photos ofme!”

Helaughed, causing you to shake slightly and you rolled your eyes. “You’re stillcute.” He told you, pressing his lips on your temple. You rolled your eyes butsmiled nonetheless. “So what should we get for dinner?”

“GRRAHHHHH!!”

Red screamed jumping almost ten feet in the air as a small zombie child jumped out at him. Next, to him, Aquata let out a laughed, “Seriously Red?”

“He came out of nowhere!” Red squeaked, his voice hitting several octaves that they shouldn’t.

“That is normally what happens in these places.”

“Yeah but we just watched ‘I am Legend’ and now I’m a little shook… AHHHH”

Aquata tried - and failed- to catch Red as he jumped into her as a grotesque clown leaped out at him. In the background, they could hear a chainsaw and several other people screaming. Red winced as they walked down another hall.

“Getting to be too much?” Aquata asked Red nodded rubbing his temple.

“I just need a second,” he mumbled not wanting to rain on the fun they were having. Damn mind-reading powers. It was one thing to be scared and let your guard down but the frightened thoughts of other people were so strong it was hard to keep out.  

Red felt something slip into his hand. Looking down he saw Aquata’s hand

“Come on” she whispered gently tugging at his hand leading him toward the exit. “I’m getting hungry”

“So fast or slow?”

“I would have to say fast is scarier but there is something about the classics,” Aquata said thoughtfully before taking a sip of her hot chocolate.

“Yeah, fast is more like rabid dogs but slow, it’s like a ghost or something,” Red said, they had gone out of the haunted maze to get some drinks and sit away from the crowds while waiting for the rest of their friends finish up with their Halloween fun. “So if there was a zombie apocalypse what would you do?”

“Well if it hadn't reached Atlantis I would take you all down there to live.” was Aquata’s automatic response. She had obviously thought about this.

“And let the world burn?”

“Who needs the world when I have you.” she said taking another sip of her drink letting her words sink in, “Oh… uhh and everyone else. Of course”

“Of course” Red nodded solemnly not noticing her slip.

“What about you?”

“To be honest… and don’t take this the wrong way but… If a zombie bit you, I’d be heartbroken, but I’d also shoot you twice in the head.”

“Ouch!”

“What? I don’t have a magical underwater layer. And that’s worst-case scenario. I wouldn’t want you to have to suffer slowly losing your humanity. Just Bam” he lifted his hand making a gun, “End it quick.”

“Awww, well, in that case, I would shoot you too”

“Deal.”
