ALR, SO… I GOT AN IDEA OF ANOTHER DC BATFAMILY PROMPT OR WHATEVER.

The first and foremost thing I must mention is that this is going to be a series. And honestly, need some opinions on this from my readers and fellow followers to see what will satisfy them!! <3

so, I have two options.

So, here’s my first idea: Talon!Dick Grayson and young, Talon!reader.

HERE ME OUT

This isn’t going to be a romantic relationship; this is going to be a platonic relationship with one another. You, the reader, are a young child while Dick is a teen/young adult because, well… Talons don’t age, right? Since they’re dead or something along those lines?

Dick rebelled against the Court of Owls, and took you with him since one, you’re too young to even be a Talon. Two, you’re like a little sibling to him, and the only thing that kept him from finally losing his mind and giving up on all hope of escaping and just… letting him become a killing machine like the rest of the Talons.

NOW, NOW… here’s where the BatFamily comes in. Bruce finds Dick at a food bank that he was at, talking about any charity to the owner of that food bank. When he noticed how Dick looked like a Talon (from his experience, heheh…), he was shocked, and almost ready to go and get into his Batsuit, but he realizes how Dick seemed chill despite having a resting bitch-or-ready-to-kill-you face.

After that… that’s where the story begins >:D

OR, Here’s my second option: Dick (aka his normal, Nightwing self) takes in Talon!user.

now, I haven’t thought more about it and how Dick decided to take in a child that has the strength of Jason and could hide and jump scare him 24/7, BUT HE DOES ANYWAYS AND HE WAS SO TERRIFIED OF HOW BRUCE WOULD REACT SO HE KEPT YOU A SECRET, BUT THE FAMILY FINDS OUT ANYWAYS

 “Elnath Peril Nightingale, I love you but what the fuck.” 

Danny was tired, he was really tired and could really use his partners’ help if they’d stop laughing at him. They were supposed to be lying low, they’d literally hopped to another world specifically to not bring attention to themselves. 

Yet here his darling clone-child was, beaming up at him while also holding the hand of… he isn’t entirely sure what they are except for some sort of undead. Some sort of undead who couldn’t sheath their claws and who had bright yellow eyes currently filled with utter befuddlement. 

 “I made friends! They were on the fire escape and this one was hurt and needs stitches. They have really weird yellow-ecto though…” 

 Ah. Yeah, that did sound kind of concerning. Maybe. Damnit he’d need to call Frostbite.

I love this one so much.

This was one of the first fic outlines I ever made. I'd say I made this after I finished writing My School’s Local Mafia Boss but before I started posting. I have yet to fully outline it. I know the whole plot, I just gotta start splitting it off into chapters bc rn its just several 3-page paragraphs of text and ideas and inspo. But I can share some of the plot!

Summary:

What if Bruce didn't arrive in time to adopt his sons?  What if the Court of Owls did? And what if… Dick gets Batman’s number during a mission and talks to him secretly, telling him about his life? What if Bruce helps Dick and his brothers escape?

So the deets are that Damian's 4, Tim's 10, Jason's 12. And Dick's 17 and the coo are waiting for him to turn 18 so they can fully sink their claws into him and corrupt him beyond humanity and make him into their soldier, so they have to get out before that happens.

Also, Dick is the ultimate big brother to the three. Saving them from various things and playing with them, studying with them, comforting them in the aftermaths of Cobb and the COO's harsh moments and training. But he's just one boy. Which is where Bruce comes in. They come across during one mission and Bruce is, well, horrified to say the least. To see these little babies fighting and being turned into mini versions of Talons. So he doesn't fight them and tries to help them instead, gaining Dick's trust, he talks to them secretly and helps them escape.

And then the story really begins. Here are teensy bits of what happens:

So yeah! That's some of it! There is so much more so much BIGGER things happening. Huge. But it shall all be revealed when I (EVENTUALLY) get to writing it and posting it :)

It's just short form for Bruce meets Tim.

Summary:

Instead of the common trope of Jason bringing Tim into the family early, what if Bruce himself brings Tim into the family early instead? What if Batman, after Dick left, found Tim stalking him? Cuz he has a seventh sense for lost and abandoned kids.

It's a super cute story! I absolutely adooooore it!!

So one day, Bruce basically stumbles across a stammering-in-awe but still snarky little boy with a camera while on patrol. He is suspicious of the kid's home life and drops him off at a bus stop when the baby refuses to go with him anywhere (in the fear that Batman's gonna arrest him). After that, he sees the boy again and sighs and decides to take him out for ice cream on a whim, feeling nostalgic for when he and Dick used to do that. He drops Tim off at the bus stop again.

But then he comes across Tim again.

Then again.

Then again.

And again!

Ofc, this is when plot happens and it's absolutely the best! Little Tim tells Bruce off, Bruce gains some emotional understanding, he calls Dick, Alfred is suspicious, Dick visits and is surprised, Tim stumbles across little Jason stealing tires, and so much more!

It's really fluffy and cute and that's the note I'm gonna end this ask response on! Thanks for asking!! :D

No matter what other people have said, I am thoroughly enjoying this game so far, there are a few bugs but the story line is fantastic, and the interactions between the characters is so awesome. The sheer about of land that can be traveled/ explored is astonishing, and if there weren’t any bugs I’d probably think witch craft was involved lmao. Also the fact they’ve made Dick canonically bisexual holds a special place in my heart

Ok. So

This is the court of owls in their masks with a talon at the center.

While the talon mask is rather bird like, and it hides their whole face, I don’t think it really fits with the theme of blank faces like the owls of the court has.

Therefore, I think that talons should now be drawn

with the golden guard mask from owl house

It keeps the bird theme, incorporates the yellow/gold features everybody seems to draw talons with, and it really matches the owl masks.

Somebody with artistic abilities please draw talon dick with this mask. I beg you
