“Really? But the way you two talk and touch each other...and you live together. You smell exactly the same too, like you’ve rolled around in each others scent. You’ve been inseparable since you got here even. I just thought…” Ryan trails off with a look of disbelief, his cigarette forgotten in his hand.

Stiles wrenched his hand free and took a step back, but before he could even think up a gameplan, he felt a prick in his neck and jerked away, reaching up to slap one hand against it and twisting in the same moment.

One of the others had come up behind him while he hadn’t been paying attention, and his vision began to swim even as his eyes caught sight of the half-empty syringe the guy was holding.

“Stiles man you can’t do this!”  Scott tried to grab as Stiles' arm but was flung across the room as soon as his hand touched Stiles, the crackle of barely restrained magic causing the Pack to back away from there distraught  Emissary,

“ You gonna stop me Scott” Stiles sneered anger rolling off him in waves.

“Dude we want to help, we want to make this right”

“You can’t, none of you can, your responsible, your stupid live and let live ideals have cost me the one thing in this fucked up world that cared about me” Tears of anger and grief were replaced by a look of black rage “It is your fault my pops is laying in this grave, and now I am going to fix it”

Peter made a soft sound and came forward “Sweetheart what your thinking of doing is dangerous, he could come back wrong”  Peter did not come any closer he could see the arcs of magic dancing over Stiles skin.

Stiles pointed a finger at Peter “You don’t get to talk, you died and came back, why do you get to and my Pops doesn't”

“Darling you cannot do this, the magic of that place is wrong” Peters' lips curled in distaste “The ground is sour”

“NO! My dad deserved better than this, I can do this, He cannot be dead, that is not how this story ends” Stiles gave the Pack one last look before he took off for the woods.

Peter looked up to the thunder clouds rolling in “Oh Sweetheart some times dead is better”
